Perfect Large Drives for Home use!
Bought a few of these for the house PLEX server. Don’t normally buy 2nd hand drives as Data is currency nowadays and losing it can have a big impact. But after a while now and monitoring them, they are just fine. They ain’t consumer grade, they are Enterprise (professional) grade. Mine are on 24/7 and never had an issue. The drives are rated for decades of use, but as these are 2nd hand likely no comeback if it fails other than what Amazon offers. But after years of use myself, zero issues. They are mechanical drives, so yes, they can be noisy, but I wouldn’t say anymore than regular. Although, make/model may vary on this. All in all, with the price of big storage, can’t beat these. NOTE: Drives come completely blank, you will need to initiate and format the drive in windows for them to be seen. If you are new to this kinda thing, it’s just a few clicks, but not obvious and you may think they are dud without knowing it.

The disk had more hours on it than possible for the stated age of the drive. It ran okay, but for how long?
