Overpriced Dried Onion
I thought this was fresh onions. Like the Spice World Easy Onion. But, these are just overpriced dried onion.

I thought that I was buying real minced onions that are moist like minced jarred garlic, not freezedried flakes, very disappointed

These are just dried flakes, not fresh whole minced onions
I am very disappointed as this was presented to me as FRESH WHOLE MINCED ONIONS and they really are just dried onion flakes !! Who makes fresh minced onions (like you see fresh minced garlic ?)

Flavorful dehyrated onions
I am a quick cook but I only cook with whole foods because I like to eat healthy. This jar of minced onions is just that - one ingredient of dehydrated minced onions. They are easy to use in cooking, straight from the jar, and flavorful. I love onions, but I hate the tears that come with chopping up whole onions. These onions are perfect for anyone - and easy, too! I highly recommend these, and this brand, as I've used Pride of India products before and always found them to be high quality.

Received a 6 oz jar instead of 7 oz
I'm taking one star away because I received a 6 oz jar (as shown in the photo I provided), but the title and photo both show 7 oz. However, the minced onions themselves aren't bad. I personally prefer fresh onions, but I have found that these do work well when I run out and really need an onion. They definitely do add around the same amount of flavor to a dish that fresh onions would. Works well with pastas, sauces, soups, and stews. I also really like that these last for a long time - the expiration date is far away, not until 2026. The container that it comes in is plastic and sealed with a shaker style top. This is one of those things that I just like to always have in the kitchen.
