This Dyson works as advertised!
This system is fantastic! I have had Dysons before, but to cut the cord is a dream! I might think that the laser is a gimmick, but the worst thing about it is the dirt and dust you see when that light goes on. The carpet head does the great job that as my corded unit does. The meter readout is interesting, because after a few vacuum sessions the only part of the graph that is consistently high is dust. The other measures stabilize quickly. The 'hair' attachment is a great addition for cleaning furniture. The only attachment that 'wet' attachment. I find it handy to go over hard floors after vacuuming, but you will have to scrub sticky or greasy spots the old fashion way. This setup is a great value, especially if you take advantage of the $799 pricing and start an Amazon card.

Let me tell YOU, honey....
This is my third Dyson. Nothing was wrong with my previous two, I just wanted an updated model. I was on the fence about this submarine because it costs a pretty penny.... but I finally just went for it. I'm SO glad that I did and I would do it again in a heartbeat. I saw all of these Vine member reviews and ofc I was jealous that they didn't have to spend $1k to get theirs.... buuuuut, screw it. I wanted the stick vacuum with the light and the mop. GIRL. My floors have never been more clean. I love to vacuum. I do it several times a day even. I live with a hairy cat and a German Shedder, so constant vacuuming is just a part of life at this point. I'll be willing to bet that my floors were never clean like I thought they were before I had the little green under glow light on my ride. What a freakin life changer. If you don't go with the Submarine, at least get the V15 detect! That light is everything. Not only do I LOVE to vacuum, now my husband is entertained by the light and the instant satisfaction of using the machine! Friends come over and want to use it, too. I cannot rave enough. The mop.... YES. I used to mop about once a week. Id have to drag the bucket in and manually mop all the floors... now, I just fill my canister up to the line, click everything in place and the dang thing SELF PROPELS when you pull the trigger! I just walk behind it and it does its thing. So easy to empty and clean. The battery for both last forever. The water in the canister lasts for my entire house. It's slim and doesn't take up much footprint. I really cannot say any more good things about this machine. Just.... honey, TREAT YO SELF! ( the whole family will want to help! ;) )

DYSON DOES NOT PRIORITIZE THEIR CURRENT CUSTOMERS
Couple things here, the vacuum is great albeit expensive. The submarine (wet mop) attachment is just okay. If you understand what the actual function is then you will be fine with it. It doesn’t suck anything up but rather dispenses water/detergent and rolls. It’s fine for me because my main use is to do quick cleans on dog prints, etc. Don’t expect it to perform major cleans. If I was to grade the vacuum and attachments, 4.5 stars, minus a half star for price. I would give the submarine attachment 2.5 stars. However, the submarine attachment worked for a max combined time of 60 minutes, or roughly 3 months of use for me. Contacted Dyson support, went through all the troubleshooting and concluded that the submarine head would need to be replaced, free of charge, under warranty. Great. But no submarine heads are in stock, and they don’t know when they will be. Fast forward 4 months and there are still no submarine heads in stock, still don’t know when they will be. The issue I am having, and I have had this before with Dyson, is they DO NOT PRIORITZE THEIR CURRENT CUSTOMERS. The entire package was in stock on day 1 and has remained in stock this whole time. So yes, they are building and selling the submarine heads but only for people that are buying the whole package new. Apparently, it is not conducive to their profit scheme to set some of those units aside as spare parts to supply their CURRENT customers with replacement units. If you look through the reviews, the submarine head breaking early on in its life cycle is a known issue. What has Dyson done to resolve this? Nothing. So, I am left with the option to continue waiting an indefinite period of time or send my whole vacuum system into Dyson and once it is received in the warehouse and verified, they will send out a replacement unit. Sounds like the best case is 3 weeks without a vacuum. I use the vacuum everyday. When asked if they could send the replacement first, and then once received I would return the old unit, I was told this is impossible. They cannot do that. (Well yes they could, they just decided their policy would say they could not). I offered to give my credit card info and if it wasn’t returned in a set amount of time they could charge me until it was. Nope. Impossible.Dyson typically makes a great product, minus the submarine head that seems to have issues left and right. But I have NEVER been satisfied with their support.

Warning: Do Not Purchase if you have OCD
Sweep first, then vacuum, then vacuum again and again because that little light lets you see EVERYTHING. My floors are never clean enough with that devil light. That being said, I like the vacuum. It replaced my 8 year old Dyson and is of the same quaility. The suction and power are what I expect from Dyson as well. It's solid, sturdy and as always, surprisingly light weight. Once you get past the screen and read the instructions to learn what everything on it means, the ease of use is a breeze. In my mind, the info is completely useless. If I vacuumed it up, I don't care how big the partical was. As with all Dysons, the battery drains pretty quickly compared to other cordless vacuums. However, given the high power, I expect that.

Could be 5 star
Where to start? Lots of parts, no instructions and indication when to use each of the parts, BUT very easy to put together and figure it out, and a plus, the battery had some charge when arrived so could try it out right away. Easily cleans up dropped glass, cat litter, fine powders like corn starch, and stuff the size of cat food/cereal. I like the screen/menu and it counts the particles picked up giving you indication of the type of particles mostly in the space using. How does it work? REALLY GOOD. Dusty where live so this picks up that fine dust/dander really well to the point the floor feels like it was mopped. The spot mop unit is just that, I wouldn't recommend it for cleaning entire house floors. How easy is it to clean? Parts vary. Recommend using fiber cloth to wipe main units out so don't get water on electronic parts/like sensors. Lots of parts to clean and takes a little more time to clean roller one, disassemble and reassemble. How to store all of the parts? Be ready to get creative as it doesn't come with parts organizer for quick access/usage. We use garage wall organizers like bike hook U's by door going into house and hang the charging unit which has a charger wall mount with cord and then the U's for the accessories. Works nice. Also having in garage lends to using it to clean out the cars and garage floor/mats going into house. What's special about the green light? It really highlights those fine particles to tell you where you vacuumed. AND THEN MINE WENT OUT after few months of use. I'm contacting manufacturer. Turn the light out in the room and vacuum away, kids like to help out.How does it do with pet hair? Real good. The bigger canister is very helpful and easy to empty. Hairs do still wrap around little wheels on head unit so that's no different than other brands/units with similar wheels.Battery last how long? we can use it on ~2000 feet if not a lot of fine particles, else about 1500ft and then charge and then finish. Is it light/easy to use? yes BUT if need to stop and move something then suggest setting it down and don't leave leaning up against something if it could fall. It's heavier on the end you hang on too.Don't recommend leaving on charger longer than needed as with any rechargeable, when over charging the battery can get hot and bad things could happen, like the battery leak/cause a fire.

Worth the money
First impression before owning one: overpriced and gimmicky (a laser dirt finder? Please)After first use: Unbelievable. So quiet my cats don't run and so much suction I can hardly move it on max setting. My carpet looked brighter as I went along, and that was after using my Shark on it.The LED detect hardwood head sounded stupid to me, but it's genius. I darken the room before I use it and I'm disgusted with what I see, but this machine gets rid of everything with one pass right up to the edge. The empty method is also great once you get used to it. I stick it down in the trash before I open it because I have wild allergies. All the HEPA in the world doesn't help if the cloud hits you after you empty it.Sometimes you get what you pay for. This is one of those times!

Its a Dyson…
LOVE THIS ITEM, LIVE IN A VERY SMALL FULLY OCCUPIED (FURNITURE, PEOPLE AND PETS) HOUSE AND THIS IS SO CONVENIENT TO USE! NO MORE SWEEPING DUST AND DANDER ALL AROUND WITH A BROOM! I GOT THE SUBMARINE PACKAGE AS I ALSO NEEDED SOMETHING TO CLEAN/WASH THE FLOOR WITH, CAN’T GET ON MY HANDS AND KNEES ANYMORE AND THIS FIT THE BILL. I HAVE NOT YET USED IT, AS JUST GETTING TO KNOW THE MACHINE…I HAVE HAD DYSON PRODUCTS BEFORE, BUT FOR THE COMPACT CONVENIENCE IT WORKS FOR ME. I am actually donating a floor scrubber than i have never used in this house, only at my daughters apt when they were moving. I love Dyson products!

Underwhelming for a $1k vacuum
I’ve always wanted a Dyson as I was convinced they make the most well designed products with exceptionally engineered motors. However, after a month or two with this vacuum, I’m not convinced it’s worth the extremely high price point. The main thing a vacuum should do is suck. It needs to suck up all the dirt and dust across my various surfaces. And this vacuum does a mediocre job. The hardwood attachment shows just how much dust accumulates around the house extremely well, but it also shows just how much is left behind after the first, second and sometimes even third pass. Basically the “laser” feature is amazing. It’s so amazing that it works better than the vacuum itself and highlights the flaws of the suction power. The carpet roller is about the same. It works, but feels like it needs multiple passes to really clean well. It also would weirdly stop rotating sometimes and I’d have to stop the vacuum and start it up again to get it going. And then there’s the mop attachment. The reason you pay $500 more for this model than the other models. And without a doubt it is not worth $500. I love the idea, but it just doesn’t work as advertised. Firstly the mop head takes several passes to get fully coated in the water so you get streaky coverage for a good 3-5 minutes until it gets going. Secondly, it’ll easily mop up fresh liquid or light dust, but anything caked on or set just doesn’t come off, even with lots of passes. Finally the cleaning of the mop head itself is a pain as it requires touching the dirty mop head (ew) and takes a while to dry so it’s not as simple as just storing after use unless you want a moldy mop.The other attachments are all fine. And for the most part it’s easy to use, swaps pieces easily, and is actually fun to vacuum with. I love the laser light way more than it has any right to be loved. Seeing the dust that it highlights gives me such an OCD satisfaction when I clean that I almost forget how much I paid for this thing. I also have a small apartment so I don’t need a very long battery life and love the convenience of a cordless stick vac. But all-in-all, you’d probably be better served getting a dedicated mop and a better vac then sacrifice on both accounts for the sake of convenience. The way I feel about this vacuum is the way a guilt tripping parent feels about their kid after they do something bad: I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed.

Bon achat !

As advertised
This the best vacuum on the market. It performs as advertised. I would highly recommend purchasing this product

Parte fundamental!
Es un producto básico para limpieza ya que sobrepasa con las expectativas necesarias. Solo el del trapeador necesita ajustes para que lo realice de forma correcta (queda pañoso y deja muchísima agua)
