Bag of Fifty Various Coins with an Indian Head Penny

My kid enjoyed them.

All but 3 were from the 40s and 50s. There were a few S pennies though. Nice that there is an Indian head penny.

As a budding coin collector (casual, as I don't want to spend money on expensive coins), I decided to start a wheat penny collection just for the heck of it. I ordered a bunch of random wheat penny assortments from Etsy and Amazon. This one came sooner than expected, so I spent a good amount of time sorting and organizing my pennies. Here's what I got:1913, 1919, 1926, 1929-S, 1937 x2, 1938-D, 1939 x2, 1940 x2, 1940-S, 1941 x3, 1943, 1944 x2, 1945 x3, 1946 x 4, 1947 x4, 1948 x2, 1949-S, 1950-S, 1951-D, 1952-D x2, 1953, 1954-D, 1955 x2, 1955-D, 1956, 1956-D, 1957-D x3, 1957 x2. I also got one 1992 (regular) penny. Total: 49 coins (although I may have miscounted). I did NOT receive any Indian Head penny as advertised.As you may have noticed, the majority of coins were 40s (47%) and 50s (33%). The majority of them were noticeably poor condition. I got one decent 1946 penny and also one 1947 penny in very bad condition with large pockmarks. I did find some pennies I hadn't have before, but overall, this purchase was not worth it. Maybe for beginning collector like me who is satisfied with mediocrity, but overall, save your money.

this was awesome! I was amazed of what I found in this bag! it came withe mostly 40 and 50's BUT I got a 1943 steel inside and that was not even advertised! the indian head was in pretty good shape for its age too.(1889) also I got a 1937,1920 and 1916 inside, Incredible!

The Indian head was in great condition and I finally got a good collection of wheat pennies!
