Reyna’s secrets pale in comparison to what Mazrith has been keeping from her. And now she knows what he is, he has nothing to lose. With the balance of power tipping, both Reyna and Mazrith will be forced to make choices. Save each other, or stop the monsters from ruling Yggdrasil . But love can turn even the sanest crazy, and if they can’t save each other, they may just become the monsters that threaten their world. This is the fourth and final book in the Shadow Bound Queen series, which is an adult fantasy romance inspired by Norse mythology. It is a slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers romance, packed with magic, mystery and above all - delicious romantic tension. *This blurb is as spoiler-free as possible! Review: What. A. Ride. - Court of Serpents and Secrets was the perfect finale to a series that had me absolutely hooked from the first page of book one. Eliza Raine delivered the kind of ending that satisfies your soul and leaves you breathless — and somehow still manages to surprise you every step of the way. Even knowing there would be an HEA (because let’s be honest, I wouldn’t have emotionally survived otherwise 😅), I still had no clue how we’d get there. The twists? Impeccable. The turns? Mind-blowing. The stakes? Higher than ever. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. This was such a fun, fast-paced read — the kind of book that makes you ignore your responsibilities and forget what time it is. I devoured this series, and not once did I feel bored or like I was reading filler. Every chapter mattered. Every moment built toward this epic, satisfying finale. Also… the spice level in this one? Off. The. Charts. 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ Whew. I had to take a break just to fan myself. Eliza Raine, you are the Shadow Bound Queen — long may you reign. 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend to anyone who loves: * Epic fantasy romance * Twisty, unpredictable plots * Fierce heroines and swoony, complex love interests * High stakes and high heat 🔥 #ElizaRaine #TheShadowBoundQueen #CourtofSerpentsandSecrets Review: Highly addictive romantasy series that almost crosses into epic fantasy territory! - Court of Serpents and Secrets by Eliza Raine -The Shadow Bound Queen Book 4- 4/5⭐️ This series is highly addictive and easily consumed. It’s true enemies to lovers and slooooow burn. •My Blurb• I’m not going to include a blurb for this in order to avoid as many spoilers as I can. •My Thoughts• Oh. My. Goodness. My brain is still reeling from all the reveals and all the plot pieces that came together in this last book. I enjoyed the characters and the story so much. There were a few plot twists that caught me completely by surprise and so many things fit neatly together. I did feel like there were a few small plot holes but I was able to easily move past them and enjoy the story. There was so much packed into this last book and while I’m so happy to have reached the end, I do wish we had more time with Reyna and Maz as a couple. Definitely recommend this series for those who love shadow playing MMCs and true enemies to lovers. I had such a great time with this!

wonderful series, wish there was more!!
The review is for the whole series, I definitely recommend and overall rate it 4.5. Love the characters, the plot and the world. It’s unique enough to pull you in right away and keep you guessing until The very end I was definitely shocked more then once. The world building is just right, interesting but not too overwhelming. My main complaint would be that there was so much we could have continued to explore, other courts that hadn’t been visited or the games continued. Things continued about the same pace through the series until halfway through this book everything happened at once. I really wish for the length of each book we could have gotten another book and more things happening before the end there was much more to explore before flying to wrap things up so quickly.

This book was good but I expected more.
(Contains spoilers) I like the plot, the story itself. I enjoyed the mystery of who/what Reyna is, trying to solve the riddles, who the mystery person who sent the owl is, who the traitor is, will they save Maz... so many mysteries that kept my interest enough to bring me to book 3. I thought there was gonna be more between Reyna and Mazrith. The tension and the dreams teased to what would happen when they finally gave in. Well, they gave in, it was good and that's all we got for the rest of the book. The villains' end was anticlimactic, almost rushed. The end was simple and abrupt. There were inconsistencies, grammatical and spelling errors through out. I still recommend this book. The story and all the different mysteries kept me interested and hooked despite everything else.

An Ending for the Ages!
Writing this review is harder because I really don't want to leave spoilers. Mazrith and Reyna have a relationship that has been revealed in bits and pieces through his words. This final book of the series has the back stories we crave and the magic it took. Yes, there is still loss and sadness, but there's a strong thread of justice that ties all together. Great book!

All in all a good short fantasy read
⭐️4 🌶️ 2-3 I may be partial because I come from a Scandinavian background and love any reference to, or story about, Norse mythology. And the fact that it was intertwined with fae fantasy was even better. I appreciate the research the author did when writing this book. There were some grammatical errors which others have pointed out but personally, as annoying as that can be, it didn’t take away from the story. I LOVED Maz and Reyna’s love story and I didn’t want to see it end! I’m pretty sure there won’t be any more books on them but I’d love another and could easily read 300 more pages about them ruling the shadow court with their budding family and building alliances with the gold, ice, fire and earth courts. Omg and Dak’s death?!?! I could’ve done without that haha that was too sad. With the cliffhangers that killed me, grammatical errors that annoyed me, and deaths that made me sad, all in all I still loved it and would recommend this series to anyone wanting to read a short and complete fantasy series.

An Original Review
Storyline/Plot: I loved this series! If you haven’t read it and need a break from "hot and heavy" books this is a nice dark fantasy romance. On the scale of darkness, it would be gray. Just in the middle! The characters are interesting, and I loved the twist of the secret villain. I suspected them, but the why and all the other aspects of the twist were great! I found the last fourth of the book to be a little rushed, but not enough to diminish the read. I would have loved an epilogue! Favorite Characters: Dakkar! I love that I don’t know what to think of him until the end of the book. He is amazing. Kara. I love her growth through the book! She has gone from a scared young adult into a confident woman who is proud of her skills and her brain. Spice: It is here! The spice hits and some interesting things happen; I do love a good forest scene! There is a "beg" aspect to the spice. So, if that is your thing, you’ll love this!

great ending
Great ending to a great series that was read in days. Yes they clipped off at places you wish they didn’t but all the books are out so no big deal. Jumped from one to the next. We finally find out ALL our answers to the questions we’ve been wondering! And I knew who the traitor was the whole time and not once was it brought up. Great writing and loved the Norse mixed with fae those are always my favorite genre of books so it’s cool to see them intertwined into a story.

The end
Last book in Prince mazrith and reynas journey I don't think I have read from this author before this journey was very complex it's a mystery journey with mostly action and a slow burn love story love is a focus also but done with class and not the main focus the evil queen is and possibly saving maz or stopping the queen while he has power so on a ticking time. I did have a question that never got answered he is a prince of two courts. But is he really shadow court do his real mother being a queen make him so or is it only the heir of the male king that gets the title? It was not said. (And oversight of the author) I enjoyed the journey I had to wait for last book to come out but got to read the others back to back but loved the previously at the beginning (if only all books did that as I read a lot) I would of liked a little more at the end to see the changes of good and the Scooby gang all settled in a new life of change. But that's me a great read not my normal choice of reads I love supernatural but this angle is not my favourite to read but I enjoy sometimes this one stands out and I'm glad I got to take the journey. Will read from this author again

Bella storia, meravigliosi i personaggi.
