These are hands down the best kitchen tongs I've ever owned. Over the years, I've tried countless pairs from kitchen specialty stores, big-box retailers, and everywhere in between, and they all seem to have the same annoying problems. They don't stay closed, they're awkward to store, or the tips end up touching the counter. These tongs solve all of those issues. The built-in raised design keeps the working end off the countertop, which is both cleaner and more convenient. Even better, the locking mechanism actually works and continues to stay secure over time—a feature that's surprisingly hard to find. My wife agrees that these are a huge upgrade from every other pair we've owned. They're sturdy, thoughtfully designed, and a pleasure to use. If you're looking for a high-quality set of tongs that gets the little details right, I highly recommend these.

Great material, very sturdy. Purchased these because I was sick of having to replace tongs all the time! I have had these for months and still working great! No problem washing on top rack of dishwasher! Easy to grip and store away.

So far so good. Replaced one bought from IKEA that had plastic tips. This has silicone so better for you. It’s the right length, grips well, and I’m getting used to the little bumper on the side. I usually lay mine on a small plate when cooking, so I didn’t really need this but it helps with not banging the plate on the stainless metal. I like the ability to lock it closed too. Well worth the $$!

I've been using tongs more while cooking. I like the ease of use and cleaning. They're stainless with rubber tips so won't scratch your pans.

I bought these tongs to replace an old pair we had in the kitchen, and so far they’ve been a nice upgrade. The built-in rest is honestly the main reason I picked them, and it works as expected. You can set them down on the counter without the tips touching the surface. Having two sizes is also more useful than I thought. The smaller one works well for flipping smaller pieces or handling more delicate food, while the larger one handles bigger items without slipping. The silicone tips feel gentle on non-stick pans, so I don’t have to worry about scratching anything. On the downside, they are a bit bulkier than basic tongs, mainly because of the rest mechanism, so they take up a little more space in the drawer. Also, because of the silicone tips, the grip strength is just average. If you’re trying to grab something heavy, it doesn’t feel as firm as some metal tongs. That’s probably something to keep in mind depending on how you plan to use them.

This tong is good for non-stick pans as the grippers don’t scratch (they are a silicone-like material) The only issue is that the design of the tips makes it hard to pick up food. The tips of the jaws don’t completely close.

Here in Quebec research made by cooking students and the Chef, on what where the best tongs on the market had out of 27 trials, pulled out a couple of items that stood out. So different that the cheap models. Comfortable and Efficient every time. These are the Best, 5*****

After tons of research, I finally found a pair of tongs I really like! They grab food really well and so far haven't shown signs of having any crevices where food can get stuck, aka they are pretty easy to clean.

Je les ai acheté en promotion et j'en suis très satisfaite . J'utilise surtout la grande pince et elle est parfaite. Je l'ai pendue à côté de ma cuisinière. Entretien très facile. Cela fait plusieurs mois que je l'utilise et je suis très contente. J'avais déjà acheté des pinces similaires mais celle-ci est ma préférée car bien longue, très bonne prise en main et très bonne prise de la nourriture.

So pleased with this purchase. Very easy to clean and perfect for cooking without damaging any nonstick cookware. The little “feet” on the side are such a nice feature so you can set the tongs down without messing the counter. Joseph Joseph products are amazing as always.
