Great stylish watch
If you’re looking for a classy nostalgic watch, this is the one! It looks great, for a super price. The leather band does take a little breaking in, but is also a good quality. I own a lot of Invicta watches and none of them have let me down.

Fantastic watch!
I purchased this and another watch for my husband's birthday. It is absolutely beautiful and he loves it. The quality is excellent. Invicta makes fantastic watches. I recommend this watch and Invicta products. They are very high quality and look sharp at an affordable price.

Outstanding Watch
Absolutely beautiful watch. It keeps time great thus far. The watchband is very stiff but of very good quality. I liked this watch so much I bought another but different Invicta. Very affordable for such a beautiful watch.

A VERY handsome watch!
Gold and black just seem to go together -- like movies and popcorn. They truly compliment one another. The two-tier, lightly-textured chronograph face is an extremely well-designed feature on this Invicta. With the "winged" emblem at 12 o'clock, this watch could fairly easily be mistaken by an onlooker for a Breitling costing thousands more. No accident I presume, and something that most likely doesn't sit real well with Breitling. "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.", but that doesn't usually cut it in such a highly competitive market as this. Echoing what others have said, the leather band is thick, relatively stiff and on the short side. I'm small boned, and the band isn't any too long for me. To be precise -- there were only two holes remaining that I could have used to increase the band's circumference. I usually have at least three or four holes left over. I have my doubts this watch will fit a large-boned adult male. After first trying to put the watch on without limbering up the band, I was fairly certain the pin would either pop out, bend or break. I flexed the band back and forth a half-dozen times every half-inch or so. This seemed to do the trick, but it was still tougher than usual to get on. If the leather is true to form, it should get a little easier every time I put it on. An additional shortcoming of this watch is the fact that the second-hand never lines up properly with the indices. Granted, I am asking too much of a sub $2,000 watch, or so it would seem. High end watch makers pride themselves on the second hand lining up with every single indice during every single trip around the face. Consumers who plunk down the big bucks for high end time pieces expect nothing less. It is one of the features they specifically look for, as it epitomizes ultra-precision watch making that true connoisseurs covet and are quite willing to pay for. I own several Invictas. They seem to be quite well made, but I've only owned them for a couple of years in most cases, so I don't know if they will withstand the test of time. If they function as good as they look, and as good as Invicta brags them up to be, then what gives with the industry-puny one-year warranty?!? Not particularly inspiring. Neither are the "free" repairs under warranty that cost $20.00 a pop to cover their shipping & handling charges to return the repaired watch back to you (gouging comes to mind), which is of course on top of whatever it cost you to package it up and ship it to them in the first place. I am not a big fan of the marketing gimmick employed by the likes of Invicta and Swiss Legend (which I have good reason to believe both come out of the same watch hatchery in Florida), whereby they set the MSRP 10 to 20 times higher than the intended asking price. If P.T. Barnum was right -- and as of MMVIII I no longer have any reason whatsoever to doubt him -- then I suppose the ruse pays off for them in the long run. Method to their madness, as it were. I own half-a-dozen Swiss Legend watches. I won't be adding to their number. Like the Invicta brand, they are big, heavy and quite striking looking. However, the Legends have a very serious flaw. I refer to the STEM -- very possibly the single most important part of a watch. I am a watch collector, and have been for many years. I tell you this only to call attention to the fact that I know how to handle watches. On my first two Swiss Legends, the entire stem came all the way out of the watch while I was simply pulling on the crown to get it into the proper position to adjust the time and/or the date. This had NEVER happened to me even once, must less twice, in the 25 years I had been collecting watches prior to these minor tragedies. I figured the first time was a complete fluke, so I probably wasn't as nimble or dainty as I should have been on the second one. Needless to say, whenever I need to adjust the time/date on any of my remaining four Legends, I handle them like I would a winning 300 million dollar lottery ticket. FYI: I was able to successfully push the stem back in on the second watch, but it requires a pair of tweezers to do any kind of adjusting. I didn't bother to turn either watch in for repair even though they were still under warranty because it happened very early on in both cases. I simply didn't want to deal with all the hassle and the "free" fees. If anyone else has experienced this issue with a Swiss Legend, I would very much like to hear from you. Have a great day!

How good the quality is
I also appreciate that the watch has a nice weight to it without being overly heavy, making it comfortable for long wear. Whether you’re looking for a reliable daily timepiece or a stylish accessory, this Invicta watch delivers both performance and design

Beautiful dress watch that will get you complements!
I've had this what for a few weeks now, and so far, I'm thoroughly impressed. I'll update this review in a few months once I've had time to break it in, but in the meantime, here are my impressions: --Build Quality-- This definitely feels like a really sturdy watch! The case is solid, all the hinges are tight, and the clasp fits snugly into the band without too much flex on the leather. Though the band is definitely stiff when you first get it, this has been my experience with most leather watches in this price range. Once you wear it for a few months, I'm sure the stiffness of the band will decrease and it will start to break in fairly normally. The gold-plating on the case and clasp are lustrous and high-quality. I have no doubt the plating will hold up over time without any problems rubbing off. Similarly, the black leather doesn't seem to be rubbing off so far, but I'll update if that changes. --Appearance and Value-- This is definitely an expensive-looking watch! For under $100, you get a watch that easily looks like it could sell for three times that cost. I've already gotten several complements on the watch at a recent professional Conference I attended, with one person saying, "How can someone in your profession afford a watch that nice?" That's the ultimate complement for someone purchasing a budget watch like this one! So if you want to impress your colleagues, customers, clients, or conference-goers with your good taste in watches, this is a fabulous watch to add to your collection. --Features-- This watch has a chronograph and date window, both of which work perfectly and as advertised. The date window placement and orientation is slightly awkward - being between the III and IIII and at a 45-degree angle - and not having a magnifying window is slightly disappointing, but otherwise it doesn't detract from my enjoyment of the watch. As for keeping time, I set the time three weeks ago at the exact second according to internet time, and it's still within a second of the original time - pretty good for a sub-$100 watch over three weeks! --Overall-- I love this watch. If it were a more casual watch, I would wear it every day. It looks fantastic, and looks like it's worth far more than what I paid for it. I would definitely recommend this watch to anyone look to class up their outfit with a classic but elegant timepiece.

I picked this watch up on Prume Day for 70.00, then the day after Prime Day it dropped to 50.00. I returned the 70.00 watch, 20 bucks is 20 bucks. I was kinda of alarmed when it went even lower then Prime Day. The watch is very nice, it looks like an expensive watch. I have expensive watches in the thousands, however I wanted a good looking watch for everyday use that had alot of the bells and whistles an expensive watch has other then the price. I am very please with the watch and it's quality. The band is hard and stiff, just massage it and bend it a bit and it loosens up. Pick one up, for a watch under a 100.00, it's definitely worth it. It's another to add to my collection.
