It is heavy (being cast iron) but this gives it stability. I cook a lot of Keto dishes and this is wonderful not only for tortillas but I have also made excellent Keto biscuits and crisps - oh the joy of not having to use the rolling pin any more. This product is just so quick and easy to use. I do wish that instructions for the care of the machine had been included with it rather than having to wait for the ebook and instructions by email. As far as the cookbook is concerned I am very disappointed that it is not published as a hardback book. The recipes are lovely and each has a colour photograph with it. I would certainly buy a hard copy. Another bonus is that the after sales service is excellent and the family run business are really eager to please. Why I didn’t get one of these sooner I have no idea, it’s a game changer especially when I need to whip up some tortillas in a hurry, my family fancied chilli the other night and instead of having to hand roll out all the tortillas which is super time consuming, I was pressing dough and cooking over and over in no time. It’s very easy to put together, and extremely sturdy, I would always recommend a cast iron press over a wooden one for sturdiness, it presses out the dough so evenly and easily, I’ll definitely be using this a lot.
