Malibu C Color Correction 5g Sachet

Firstly this will not remove blue. Blue and blue based dyes are renown for staining deep into the hair folicals especially on bleached and damaged hair. So I started off with a peachy pink tone left and very pink stained roots. First pic. I used orange directions semi permanent dye and magenta colour freedom (heavily diluted) for the last few months and I wanted rid of the build up ready for my next pastel. I was sceptical. So much so I am even willing to post a video of the after. I am shook at how well this worked on the colours. It's back to how it was months ago before I started with the colours again. For clarity my hair is naturally blonde with bleach highlights (very outgrown from about 2 inches down.) but you can see this in the video. The pink wasn't bugging from my roots and the other shades were not shifting from my ends. 2 things is do differently 1) mix it in a little bowl before application as this caused problem 2. 2) because I didn't mix it well enough in my hairs to much went on my roots and 3 washes later couldn't get my hair to stop foaming after I got out the shower. I shoved my head back under the water for another 2 mins and finally got it all out. Lesson learned. Another thing I have psoriasis and it hasn't irritated my scalp at all. Overall for £6 it's worth a shot. I've already ordered another to keep in for next time.

I'd had a little hiccup happen after my last trip to my trusted hairdressers for my annual bleach and tone, I'd asked her to use the toner that we'd got great results from previously (I decided to go a little lighter blonde the time before so she had to use a different toner and I ended up being slightly patchy with a two-tone of yellow and silver) and I somehow unexpectedly ended up going from super bright blonde to a dull, darker blonde that looked brunette at the top when it was wet or tied up which has never happened before! 🫣 I didn't panic as I knew there were ways to resolve this, especially as my hairdresser is very skilled and did a fantastic job in the past colour correcting my hair after a different incompetent hairdresser had completely destroyed it. I thought I'd give it a simple wash which usually seems to do the trick but the toner was so dark that it didn't budge an awful lot, I then decided to do a bit of research and discovered this absolute LIFE SAVER of a colouring fixing formula and paired it with a hair-extension friendly clarifying shampoo. I've used Malibu C's blonde purple shampoo and conditioner in the past and my hairdresser had used Malibu C for my colour correction which both had superb results so I had high hopes giving this a shot. Needless to say, after using this formula and two rounds of clarifying shampoo just over 24 hours since the initial colour service, there's not a single inch of unwanted toner darkness left in my hair, it looks absolutely unbelievable! I'm still in shock at how incredible it's worked for me 😍 To say I'm thrilled with the results is a huge understatement as I was very anxious at the thought of having £230 that I'd spent getting it done going down the drain if it went wrong or didn't work as expected since it wasn't my hairdressers' fault whatsoever seeing as I'd chosen to use the other toner. My hair has reverted straight back to being a gorgeous bright blonde with the extra benefits of having the most perfect blend between the roots and rest of the hair with no two-tonal, patchy look and the freshly coloured roots look much softer and natural rather than harsh and strikingly bright which would usually take me a lot of getting used to again after having big, dark, outgrown roots, I'm not sure if this is intentional with the formula or just a positive effect of the toner but regardless I'm very pleased with the outcome and happy to let my hair rest and go back to my usual hair washing routine and products, I didn't think for a second it'd be so quick and easy to fix in one go! I highly recommend this product to anyone who's had trouble with a toner and can't wait weeks for it to wash out on it's own because it's well worth the money and so quick and easy to use, it works within 5 minutes, washes out fast leaving no irritation, unpleasant texture or strong smell and the instructions are so straight forward that you can use it at home. You can't really go wrong with it or end up going an unexpected colour (given your circumstance and correctly following the instructions) as I'd feared would happen as I'm no hair expert. I'm so glad I found this miracle product and won't hesitate to use it again if I'm ever unhappy with my toner again 😊

Did not work for me made absolutely no difference to colour I wanted to remove. Bought 2 packs wasted my money.

This product is absolutely fantastic. I had an oopsie moment yesterday after applying Wella color charm t14 on my bleached hair. It turned green and yes, I know I should know better as this is only for orange tones (which I did also have. Sadly my impulsive nature made me cover my entire head..gloop.) Despite all the research and studying I put myself through, to get the colour right, my brain decided to make some short cuts and try other things. Sigh. If you're like me, impulsive and don't mind a hair risk (until it goes long), then look no further. This product removed the green and my hair looks far better now. It also lightened a lot of the henna on my ends, which I've been trying to get rid of for a long time. It didnt get rid of it completely, but it definitely helped. The Malibu C CPR is excellent for removing henna (well, doesn't remove it fully as henna is very permanent. But it will drastically reduce the redness in it.) Anyway, enough about henna and back to this product... I purchased two sachets, just to be on the safe side as I have very long, thick hair. Two sachets were perfect. Shampood with the Malibu C pH shampoo and then sprinkled this product onto wet hands, added 30ml of water and lathered it through my hair. Left on for 7 mins, just in case 5 wasn't enough 🤣. Rinsed and straight away noticed the green was gone. Phew! It is my understanding that this product works best within 48hrs of the oopsie. Although a number have reported it works well on semi permanent/demi no matter when you had it done. Brilliant product, very easy to use and extremely effective. I really like this line as the products really do work when used as directed. It saves you money and it saves you bleaching your hair again, or requiring another form of colour correction. Highly recommend 10/10

I tried this after my hairdresser dyed my hair too dark. I didn't want to go back to ask her to correct it because I like her and I get that things don't always go to plan. I left this on for the recommended time then washed my hair 3 times with Aveno clarifying (cider vinegar) shampoo. I then conditioned with a hair mask for 10 minutes as my hair felt very dry. When I dried my hair it was ginger/orange. The colour in my hair had been removed but had left a very warm undertone. My hair has always been blonde but I do have warm undertones which this product brought out. I've had to tone my hair several times to try and reduce the warmth in my hair colour as I didn't want to use developer again and further damage my hair. My hair condition is a little dry now and I'm using redken acidic bonder to try and get the condition back. I know that this product is advertised as not having harmful ingredients but it will dry your hair out, especially as you have to wash it out at least twice with clarifying shampoo. It does work but use it with care and be aware that what you are left with afterwards might not be what you want.
