## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will it stop rod seams from coming apart?**
A: No. It is difficult to pull curtains over the seam and the tape eventually comes off.  It's very thick, probably 1/4 inch.  It didn't help me so I probably won't buy it again.  I actually found that postal packaging tape or electric tape works better and is much cheaper.

**Q: Will this work with rod pocket curtains or only grommets or rings?**
A: On a pocket curtain there may be too many points of contact.  Unless you cover your entire rod (top, sides, bottom) with this tape.  It is only about as wide as a strip of cellophane tape. So it works on the top of a rod where rings come in contact.

**Q: Will this help grommets slide across a rod that has become worn from friction use.**
A: I think so. I can’t know what specific damage you mean, but the tape attaches to the top of the rod and the rings or grommets slide on that. I have metal rods and it has worked very well to allow the curtains to slide smoothly over the points where one rod slides into another.

**Q: Will a pull rod help, I have heavy curtains and a longer span, I'm concerned that I'll get a bump at the splice point?**
A: To the best of my knowledge, as a fellow customer, The ez glide tape needs to be a smooth transition on the curtain rod that the rings are to glide over. The "splice" needs to be seamless and applied straight on he rod.  I have one long rod and it helps but my application on the rod was not as straight as it could have been (The rod has a slight bends or sag that I did not notice while applying the EZ Glide tape.  So it works but it could be better if applied straighter.  I also purchased a clear "pull" rod and I use that to pull the drapery on the rod and that helps along with the ez glide.
