Could not get this thing to work Initially, The chip is marked as HP5883 which means that this is the QMC5883P not the L. Use the adafruit QMC5883P library

Completely misleading labelling. This is actually a qmc5883p. If you zoom in on the main chip it says "hp 5883 xxxx" which is the qmc NOT hmc. If the labelling is correct this is very good value for money. 3 magnatometer and some spare wires. Hope this helps for anyone else trying to get this to work

Non functional - For starters these are not HMC5883L but a QMC5883P I’ve checked the pinout of the HP 5883 5503 on a datasheet and the silkscreened pinouts on the board appear to be correct, but despite trying many libraries have been unable to get it to communicate and it appears to crash the serial bus when used in conjunction with another device.

As the title says. They are actually QMCs. They still work but a deliberately misleading image/ item title to trick you into thinking they are HMCs

Unable to get this module to work with any potential Arduino library after much research.

Did not work, they aper to be neither QMC5883L or HMC5883L absolutely not compatible with Pi Pico

They are labeling this all over the place. Its not a HMC5883L, Its not Even a QMC5883L, Its using a HP chip so I had to use the Library it seems to be QMC5883P for this thing to finally work, I had to find the adafruit library for that. its 2 stars instead of one because after wasting 20 minutes with troubleshooting I finally got it to work, and it does work.
