I placed one in the pen and wrote. It wrote as it should. I sat the pen on a pen stand overnight and returned to it the following day. I removed the cap to write and got ink all over my hands and clothing. This is my first pen of this type although I wouldn’t think this is suppose to happen or if I did something wrong. The pen went in the trash in less than 30 hours of having it. If it’s suppose to leak then it’s a nice pen. Just one note, the refill ink cartridges are not all the same size so it may not fit. Get an ink bottle instead and use the original cartridge that comes with it.
