Ok. Item came in one piece. Finish on the product was professional and clean. Wired in well. Hasn't blown-up yet, a week in. Only niggle with it would be the wire box for the power supply. Its blasted tight, for the core of cable you're meant to use ! Similar model I had 20 years ago, this is replacing, had loads of wiring room. Looks clean and good though..So im happy.. so long as it continues not blowing up ;)

Dead easy to install by yourself, just like wiring a plug and the plates heat up fairly quickly and it seems pretty controllable compared to others I’ve had. Very happy so far but I guess it won’t last long but definitely does the job and I’m happy with my purchase.

This hob started to rust after just over a year. I've tried to get recompense from SIA as guided by the Consumer Rights Act, but they have refused based on it being over the one year guarantee. They are claiming that rust must have been caused by excessive use of water when cleaning. I categorically dispute that this has happened, clearly the product is not finished at a high enough spec to prevent rusting. So I would strongly advise you to spend a bit more money with another supplier & avoid all SIA products.

Arrived the following day which was amazing BUT, ..........I had an almost identical model that lasted for 15 years and still looked good but decided to replace it as one of the rings packed up. This unit felt extremely inferior and after a few uses the metal that surrounds one of the cooker rings started to discolour, not from heat but spillage, almost as if the exterior metal was rubbing off after a clean
