This gel polish remover kit works really well. It helped remove my gel polish much faster than I expected and the process was pretty easy to follow. The tools included in the kit are very helpful and make the removal easier without damaging the nails. I also like that I can do it at home instead of going to the salon. Definitely a great little kit to have if you do your own gel nails.

I was having an allergic reaction and needed to remove my gel mani ASAP. My nails and fingers were way too painful and sensitive for a soak off, so I bought this kit and prayed that it would work. Much to my surprise it worked amazingly!!! The whole process was super easy. I buffed the top coat off REALLY thoroughly, applied the latex to my skin, applied a generous layer of remover and within 5 minuets it was totally cracked up and flaked right off my nail. I did have to reapply to some nails at the tips, but after the second application you should be able to easily buff off any remnants. This is a great product if you’re in a pinch and really need your mani off, but I don’t know how suitable this is to use regularly. Personally I wouldn’t, because it does cause your nail to shrink and dry out significantly. I don’t think that’s a good effect long term. But overall I’m glad I had this product, it really saved my nails and skin!

To be clear, this review is for the Gellen Gel Polish Remove Kit. The product does remove the gel polish reasonably well. I tried it first by removing most of the polish, just the top layer, and putting it straight on. Removing most of the polish doesn't make it work faster. I saw no difference between the second two...I would recommend setting a timer for five minutes, removing the majority of polish and then putting a second coast. Also recommend putting the latex on the unpolished grow out to protect it. This WILL cause damage to your nails...it IS a chemical and the top portion of your nail was previously scratched off to so the polish adheres better and now you are scraping off the polish. And even after two applications, there was still some residue nail polish that I needed to buff off. I then washed my hands and applied the cuticle oil to the cuticles AND my nail. As such, I do NOT recommend regular use. I only got this because I only get gel polish during the summer and the salon still charges me the same amount to remove it.

Does not work as well as I wished. Does bubble but have to apply twice to get all the layers off and still requires lots of scraping.

Absolutely awesome!!! Cleaner and less foil mayhem. The latex tape is A beginner or not so good( like me ) nail polishers dream. So simple to use. Really protects nails from polish along with true protection from polish remover. The remover is the truth, five-to eight minutes and polish is bubbling and easy to scrap off. However the tools that are included did it for me; they are small yet heavy duty and very beneficial. I appreciated that the kit has everything needed for nice clean gel removal. And Mani/pedi prep. A total win!!!

I was excited to try this because the reviews were positive, so my expectations were set high. First off, just by looking at the appearance after opening the package, I was surprised to find that the nail polish remover's consistency is thick, not runny. I applied the latex tape before applying the remover. I was skeptical about the first coat because not much came off. I applied another coat of the remover and was amazed at how I was able to scratch off the top layer of polish. I used the nail filer to buff the top layer of gel polish away. I applied a third later and was amazed to see that the soft gel nail extensions started to lift. Again, I used the nail scrapper and filer and removed another layer. I used a total of 4 coats of gel remover to get rid of all gel polish and gel extensions. I finished using the 99% acetone pads and cuticle oil that are included with the package. I don't think I needed to buy the latex tape but it's good to have on hand. 10/10. Must buy!

Me encantó este removedor de esmalte en gel. Funciona muy bien y en pocos minutos el gel se levanta fácilmente sin dañar mis uñas. No necesita remojo, lo cual ahorra mucho tiempo, y trae herramientas útiles como el empujador de cutículas y el aceite. Ya lo he comprado más de una vez y sin duda lo seguiré usando. The gel remover and the liquid latex worked well but the rose cuticle oil did not work--I guess it appears to twist to push out the oil onto the brush and when I went to screw it, it just made a clicking noise but no oil came out. The plastic is clear so I could see through the tube to see what the problem was and it appeared to be manufactured in a way that made the clicking noise but did not actually do anything. Therefore, the rose oil is really just for looks unless you want to break it open and get to it that way. Otherwise, the product was fine.
