Never buy any other plant based milk again!
This product is fantastic! It is all pros and no cons! First of all when you buy plant milks in usual package at Walmart you are spending most of the money for an expensive wax covered box and plastic cap and color printing that ends up in the landfill. Also, the std offerings are mostly just water and have significant added calcium and sodium which you don't need sometimes. Why pay to package and haul water around the country and pasteurize and refrigerate it. You can use this soy milk powder to constitute your own recipe that will be richer in flavor and involves essentially no packaging. ONE ingredient in this bag and organic too! I always wished my almond milk or whatever was more creamy but without added gums and thickeners, and this product is the solution. I blend a couple of tablespoons into a cup of dry steel cut oats and add water and then stir it around til homogeneous. Then add banana slices and fruit and let that sweeten it up as it all "cooks" (with no kwh needed) for a while. I learned to add just a tiny dash of salt to the mix. Voila! Perfect muesli with soy. Digests perfectly! No packaging, no refrigerating, little clean up. This is perfect food for van lifers too who don't want a refrigerator or to use extra kwh. Highly recommend!! Can you get any healthier than a bowl of steel cut oats, soy and fruit? NO, it is the ultimate for you mind and body and microbiome that keeps it all working like a well oiled machine...and good for the environment too!

Now Foods Organic Soy Milk Powder: Excellent soy milk powder and very versatile
This is a superb and economically priced organic soy milk powder. It is unsweetened, but if you prefer a little sweetness, one only has to add a little sugar or honey to it (or any other sweetener of your choice). Some people have complained that it doesn't blend well, but here's a little secret for you: simply take a Mason jar (or any other glass or plastic jar or cup with a lid), and shake the soy product with your liquid of choice (and sweetner), and this will work out just fine. Plus, by shaking it, a nice foam will develop and give your drink a more creamy consistency. You can also use a blender.

Formula Changed..
Unfortunately the formula changed. This could be better for some and not so much for those who swing on the same team as I. Years back this product was ordered multiple times and I was very satisfied with the flavor. It tasted like real fresh soy milk, (beany), when mixed with a spoon or whisk in room temperature water and heated to serve hot. Now it will not mix fully unless placed in a blender with room temperature water. (It foams a lot when blending.) I find the new neutral flavor a bit disappointing. This product had disappeared for a long time from availability and now that it has returned it is a product I can no longer recommend as a true substitute for the "real thing". The previous formula was more to my liking. It was less difficult to mix and when heated produced a lovely traditional soymilk flavor. Many people do not like the beany flavor of fresh soymilk but I am a fan. Tips: -Blend in blender on high - use more powder than recommended -be prepared to use a generiuos amount sweetener if you prefer it sweet Overall it will do the job as a shelf stable non dairy milk alternative with a limited content list.

Affordable Organic Soymilk Great Taste!
I was looking for an affordable option for organic soymilk and didnt realize you can get it in powdered form. I love that it has no other strange ingredients and you can just make as you need. I am a fan of Edensoy and Westsoy but buying in bulk is expensive. I did read some of the other reviews where people were not a fan of how it mixes with water. I guess it depends on its usage. I use it strictly for my decaf lattes (I use my frother) and protein shakes. Works just fine and the taste is great! Although the texture is on the thicker side I think its a pretty good product and its affordable and the protein grams per cup are almost comparable to Westsoy. I’m looking forward to using it more and will purchase this product moving forward.

Worst dairy alternative ever!
I'm not sure why people gave this such good ratings, because this stuff sucks. It doesn't dissolve very well at all. I would have to get whatever I was putting it into to a rolling boil for at least 10 minutes before it dissolves. Still leaves a grittiness to whatever you put it into. Not to mention it tastes terrible and stale with no flavor other than like you put cardboard in. No sweetness, no taste of being soy-like or any milk-like product. It doesn't even resemble food, if you gave this to someone blindly then they would probably spit it out and think you were poisoning them. I'm unsurprised that this is currently unavailable from Amazon, because it doesn't deserve to be sold and I don't know how anyone is reviewing this and giving positive reviews.

Tastes like raw batter
I was ready to like this stuff. I like soy beans, tofu, TVP, and soy milk. I just wanted a soy milk that didn't have anything in it but soy. So I thought this would be great. But it isn't. Other people must live in a parallel universe where this dissolves fully in your coffee or when mixed into what is supposed to be soymilk. It did not dissolve in my coffee, so I heated it more. Eventually after a couple minutes in the microwave, the soy powder in the coffee "dissolved" into a thick layer on top that could not be stirred down. It didn't taste good. Didn't even taste like soy. It tasted like raw batter, like for pancakes. Not good. Then I mixed some up according to directions with water, shook it up good, and put it in the fridge. After a few hours, it had separated into layers. I shook it up again and took a taste. Still tasted like raw batter. I think this would only be good for baking. Won't buy soy milk powder again.

Prepare it right and it's PERFECT
This is fantastic and I am desperate for a restock. For anyone who doesn't like the flavor, it tastes like plain unsweetened soy milk, but a little different because it doesn't have additives. If you prepare it right, it tastes WAY better than the supermarket ones. I used another Amazon reviewer's recipe (pasted below) and it is PHENOMENAL. Please bring this back!!! "I take 6 heaping tablespoons and 4 cups of water PLUS -- this is the important thing -- half a teaspoon of salt and a teaspoon of my preferred flavoring (mine happens to be maple powder, vanilla, or my favorite: candy cap powder). I blend it slowly so it does not fly everywhere... for a flavorful, full-bodied yummy creamy milk." Recipe by commenter JW

Wide Mouth Jar is Best for Making a Batch.
For a single person household, i don't think i'd buy this again. There's just not much savings to be had for all the trouble. I happen to like soy milk with my granola in the morning. So, initially i thought i'd save a little by mixing my own. And, that's just it. There's not a great enough savings to be had when i compare the time and mess it takes to mix it vs walking into a store and buying the shelf stable option. There's also the mess: Make sure you use a wide mouth jar with a cap that seals if you're making a quart or so at a time. I actually used a narrow mouth glass 64 oz bottle that required the use of a funnel-- it was akin to water torture. (I'm not the most patient person either.) This is no reflection at all the quality of the product. It turned out a creamy looking, tasty product. It's just the process that's too much for me.

Exactly what it says in the tin at an affordable price
This is soy powder in a very pure form -- no emulsifiers, no added flavors no anything else, so for instance, the color is a bit brown-ish, it doesn't dissolve well in cool water, and it tastes like soy, not like milk! So heat a little bit of water in the microwave and dissolve it in that before adding cold water, and add spices -- cinnamon, fennel, vanilla, cloves and even ginger are great choices for this =) I use this in recipes that have milk, where it provides the protein and the oils, for my breakfast oats, and in hot chocolate, where as a bonus it creates a delicious foam on top of it.

Water like taste and doesn't mix well
The product provides little instructions, only x amount of teaspoons with x amount of water. After mixing and putting in the fridge it settled into layers. Only immediately after mixing will it look like milk. It won't taste like soy milk though. Tastes watery. Maybe I missed something?

Perfect
I found myself feeling fuller and less likely to experience digestive issues compared to cow’s milk. Glad I purchased this.
