Our dog is 4.5kg and not a problem to carry on your back but seems uncomfortable to carry on your front so he can see where we are going otherwise very good. Strap wrapping around front on stomach when bag is on back is helpful, Perhaps a strap near the top to go around chest to top of back would sort the issue of the problem when trying to hang the bag on your front.
