MY FISH FAVORITE FOOD

My goldfish love this food. I also have a blind goldfish. He easily finds this food on the bottom of the tank. The pellets definitely sink and my fish gobble them up. My goldfish are 5 inches long and almost 10 years old.

I have three cory catfish that are constantly working the bottom of my tank and I am sometimes concerned that there may not be food getting to them. I bought these to drop in a few times a week just to make sure they have enough. The fish definitely like them and will eat them pretty fast. They sink immediately 80% of the time. I have a strong current so they never end up where I want them but the fish find them eventually. The floaters eventually sink and get eaten. What I do not like is these are too big to be eaten immediately. They take at least 15 minutes to absorb water and soften. They eventually get eaten but the catfish tend to push them into the gravel when they first fall and can't be eaten right away. Other than some float and they are too big to eat by small cory cats immediately, they do the job of making sure the cats have food to eat. The jar is huge and was priced fairly. That is a bonus. If it expires ill take it to the lake when I fish and use it as chum. Bass, bluegill and chanel catfish will like it too.

I tried several different styles of food and these are by far the favorite of the bluegills. They are the perfect size for them to gobble up.

Hi there, I use this product for my Corydoras. If possible, please cut the pellets to longer pieces like 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch. Then, the pellets stay in the bottom of the tank longer. Most of the pellets in the container are very small bits like 1/8 inch or less which disintegrate much faster and cause a lot of waste. Thus, I have to pour a handful out and find the largest pellets to feed my fish and the rest goes to trash. So please cut more bigger pieces than bits if possible. Thank you!

When I drop these in the the water they seem to get a little air bubble attached to them for a second or two causing them to float just below or on the surface for a moment before they drop slowly to the bottom. It gives the fish a chance to zero in on them before they go. The fish love them.
