How do I pair the keyboard with my iPad?

here's the step about the keyboard connect to you iPad,
1. Slide power switch ON/OFF to on position, power indicator light blue 5s then goes off.
2. Press “Connect” button, paring indicator flflashes.
3. Turn on the Bluetooth at your tablet Settings. Find the “Bluetooth 3.0 Keyboard” and select it, it will connect automatically.
4. Paring indicator goes off after connect successfully.
If there is no response, please ignoring the previous Bluetooth Keyboard device and restart the keyboard.

How to change the backlight color on the keyboardt, can it be turned off when not in use?

Thanks for your asking.
Harvopu keyboard for ipad air 4th 5th generation has 7 colors adjustable backlight.
Here are the steps of adjusting backlight.
1. Seven-color light cycle mode: Press the "Bulb" key once to turn on the keyboard backlit, press twice to turn on the seven-color light cycle mode, press there times to turn off the backlit.

2. Manual change backlit color: Press the "Bulb" key to turn on the keyboard backlit. Then press the "RGB" key next to it to switch the color you like between 7 colors and click at a time to switch a color.
Tips: If you want to turn off the backlight, please press the "Bulb" key. One Click closing, easy to save worry

According to what you said, It is highly likely that the problem is due to incorrect input method switching.( IOS: Click "ControI+Space" to switch Input Method)
If you have tried and still cannot, you can turn off the keyboard and ignore it in the iPad Settings and pair the keyboard again, switch to the correct system, your iPad is an IOS system, so you need to click Fn+"E" to switch the system before using it.
