They're lightweight and I dont have to struggle to open and close them. If anything changes I'll update this review. I do worry that the scratch doors are going to look horrible if my cats use them. Fortunately they don't seem very interested yet! Cat used it instantly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well for purpose *by B***S on December 8, 2024* It was very easy to assemble by myself. Not super heavy once put together as well and seems fairly sturdy. It’s a decent size. It won’t hold a very large cat litter robot underneath but can fit a mid sized one as shown in the photos. If you are getting a cat litter robot make sure to take measurements for both the cabinet space and litter box well. The drawer is a decent size itself for storing cat food and accessories. It does try to catch a little when shutting so you have to give it a little jiggle. I like that the legs set the cabinet up off the ground a good height that a robot vacuum could easily go underneath. There are only two things I don’t like. The first is that it has openings on both sides of the cabinet. If you have a regular litter box this means the cat can enter from either side which is more potential for litter to escape the cabinet. I put the back of my litter robot toward one opening to block it off and that way I can run my cords through that side without the kitten trying to chew on them. Second you will want a litter catching mat inside the cabinet. While the cabinet does sweep out easily if you don’t have one you are going to have litter all over your floor. I can’t really speak to the litter box smell because the litter robot not only has a filter but I have it set to clean every morning. Overall the cabinet works well for its purpose, looks decent, and I like the storage capabilities for keeping all the cat things together. I’m considering getting another in the other color and getting another cat litter robot for another area in the house.
