Was a great shade extension for my center console T top. As a rule I didn’t leave it up while running but did a couple times between quick jumps to a new fishing spot. Boat it’s on a lift behind the house. I typically would leave shade up while sitting on lift. I got home one day and the pole had simply cracked in half and broke off completely!!! No bad storm to blame. Got no idea. We loved it for the 2 months while it lasted.

This is not a handy or useful shade at all. The shade does not fold down, or deploy quickly and is NOT safe at any running speed. Do NOT buy this unless you plan on using it stationary. Then, you will need somewhere to store this as it does not fold down at all. Each time you want to take it apart or deploy, you need their special wrenches and then you are trying to store poles that are between 6 and 8 feet long. The description makes it seem easy to use etc., not so much so. We came back from vacation and only had 30 days to return this, we are outside of the window and never used it after we tried once. One of the very few things I have bought for boating that was just entirely unimpressive.

Not well stitched. Already coming apart after one use. Was a big gap between my T-top and this shade when inserted in rod holders, to the point that the shade was mostly over my outboard. I think I can make it better by reversing the mounting, and having it angle the opposite way. But even if that works it won't fix the stitching. Hopefully my wife can reinforce it with the sewing machine.

Absolutely love it! We get so many people asking us where we got it. We leave it on the boat and have no issues.
