If you like honey cake this is the one
You can taste the honey. There is 57 percent honey, this cake is chewy, dense texture and wonderful. I have purchased this product before and will again. Great price for what it is.

NOT WHAT IS SHOWN ON THEIR WEBSITE
This is delicious. My husband and I are French and we both love it. It is the real thing. Will buy again. SECOND REVIEW. I ordered that product several time and was happy with it UNTIL last order. I received a totally different product from a different company. Different size and weight (much smaller). I immediately wrote to the seller through amazon a week ago. Still haven’t received an answer. On the site it is still old Pain d’Epices L’Abeille Diligente which is presented. What they are sending is Madison Peltier. I haven’t tasted that one yet as I am still waiting for an answer from amazon. But this is not what is featured on the description of the product and NOT what I have ordered through the last year. THIRD REVIEW : After a month I have not heard a word from Seller or Amazon. This product is NOT what I had bought previously several times. Does NOT TASTE THE SAME, products is much smaller for the same price. I AM NOT HAPPY AT ALL AND UNLESS I HEAR FROM THE SELLER ON WHY THEY SEND A TOTALLY DIFFERENT PRODUCT THAN THE ONE DESCRIBED I WILL NOT BUY NOT THIS PRODUCT AGAIN. DO NOT BUY AS YOU DONT REALLY KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO RECEIVE AND IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT SELLER WHO BTW DOESN’T SEEM TO CARE!!!

Good, not great
I love spice bread, so I was really looking forward to this. I am only giving 4 stars because this doesn't toast well. I was toasting it for an appetizer. The bread became "gummy" and lost its flavor. I will probably buy this again, but not for this particular use.

very dry, one loaf instead of two....
I was VERY disapointed with the quality of the product...# 1...the order said 2 loaves, received only one and even though if you add the weight of the "2" advertised..it does not come up to the proper weight... the quality of the loaf is mediocre, like eatind saw dust....!!!!, even my dog does not want any...he sniffes it and walk away....!!!!crumble all over the place.. I am from France and I know my "pain d'epice !!!"...this product is of poor quality and expensive for what it is...really disapointed....would appreciate a refund....thank you

waste of money
My husband passed recently and this was his favorite Christmas breakfast... he was French. The whole family gathered Christmas morning to honor him and share in what was his favorite French memory and it was so stale and tasteless that we threw it right in the garbage. what a way to ruin Chritmas for me and my family. I am still so upset.
