The clamp top tooth fits the track perfectly and is not designed specifically for this track saw. **Q: Anybody know how close the blade is to the outer edge of the guard, or how close to the wall can I get??** A: Outer edge of blade to guard is approx 2cm BUT dust extracor port and blade cover also protrudes from the side. I doubt whether you could cut closer to a wall than about 6cm ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ideal for 8 by 4 sheets *by T***K on 3 September 2020* I really like this saw and the accuracy of its cuts. In practice you have to get used to the fact that any track saw will always cut 4mm away from the edge of the track and factor that in the measurements. I found a length of flat 4mm metal that I use to compensate for this. I now use this saw rather than a bench saw for anything that needs cutting that is longer than the reach of my mitre saw. It’s especially good for working with 8 by 4 sheets. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good saw for home use *by S***E on 4 January 2022* This is a great value track and good for home use. My next investment will be a better blade. Like all these saws they come with a 24 tooth blade but it means the cut is quite ripped even with the anti-ripping rubber in place.
