We were looking for a bell that really shouted "rustic" and "handmade" while ringing "cowbell" and this definitely rang all our bells. The finish is rough but not scratchy so it feels nice to touch but not like you'll scrape yourself on it. The leather and faux fur tuft handle is bright and colorful. The bell gives a deeper clank a lang that is nice and welcoming to hear. It is well within a reasonable price for bells of similar make. It seems to be well-made. We have had some issues in the past with other bells being poorly packaged and being damaged in shipping, this bell arrived well packaged and un-damaged. you can tell this bell was not made in a factory on a bunch of machines, each one has unique personality. We love it,

This is a lovely rustic bell that is brass with an outer coating of copper. The bell has a lovely resonant sound and comes with an attached 5" hand-stitched leather strap. The fringe on the strap is vividly bright in a multitude of colors. It contrasts very well with the rustic rough finish on the bell. This bell will look great with holiday or every day decorations. I love that each bell is unique because of the way the copper finish is applied. I orginally chose it to add to my Yule decorations but like it so much that I'm going to keep it out all year round. It looks perfect in my eclectic styled home.

So this doesn't ring unless you really swing your arm back and forth. Hanging it from a tree branch or gate will not do it. This is an very pretty and striking piece. I am using it as part of a very large christmas centerpiece but first I tried it on a gate, but even slamming the gate wasn't enough to do more than a small settling sound. The bell is very gold. The clapper is unpainted and only visible if you turn the bell upside down.

Bell was in package but nothing else. The colorful “hanger” was not in package. Not worth the effort to return nor do I have the time. I will plan better anticipating poor products.

I'd been thinking about how we were going to use this cow bell. I thought out loud, we could wear a two-person cow costume. Now, it looks like I have to be the person in the back. So maybe not a cow costume. The cow bell does have a lovely sound, like a lazy wind chime with a much lower tone. Another nice feature is that the strap has functional snaps making it easier to attach to. . . your cow? Your door? This might require some creativity. You can also replace the leather strap with something of your own design. Update: I'm totally putting this on the front of my bike.

It is a pretty cowbell. The brass color and the colors on the strap are great. The leather is real leather and smells like leather it is also detachable. The sound it makes is great. I use it for home decor

Definitely a unique item on Amazon. Would make for the perfect gift to somebody with bohemian or boho decor. They can put it under a door knob like we did and thought was the perfect location since we do not have bovine animals as pets! Happy to report the bell is delivered as shown exactly and sounds as you would imagine- a cowbell with a hollow low ring when the striker hits the bell. It is a handmade item so it will have slight variations and flaws from the picture shown but that only adds character.

Cute, roughly made of metal and sprayed gold. There is a very pronounced chemical smell that is overwhelming to me. It’s cute but definitely going outdoors as decoration. Price is reasonable for handmade item.
