I never thought growing mushrooms could be so easy!
This kit was everything it was advertised to be! Easy set up, and a huge harvest within the 3 weeks they stated! I am now hoping to get a second harvest. My only criticism, if you can call it that, is that the directions were a little bit ambiguous. I wasn't sure which side of the block to cut the pastic, and it appeared that there was an additional plastic inside and I wasn't sure if I should cut that too. I cut through both layers and kept the block moist and VOILA! I had Lions Mane mushrooms a short time later! I recommend this product to any new grower!

Way to expensive
Paid nearly 85 euros for 2 mushrooms to bloom on this box . Massive rip off . When other suppliers sell from 16 euros per kit

New twist on gardening
Kit comes with a seeded brick of lion's mane mushrooms, humidity tent, water cups and sprayer. It's a bit hard to keep the tent humidity up in AZ, but with additional watering it is successful. 1st photo shows day 10 of growth. It is a great experience for kids to learn responsibility when they want a pet. Can't wait to harvest and use the recipes. Update- I put the kit in a 2 gallon Ziploc bag with the top slightly opened. I added more water to the brick and the 2nd lion's mane took off! And I think I got a sustainable ecosystem with humidity on the bag. I sauteed the first piece and it was really good! Spongy with substance. Great texture and tasty! I may get addicted....

Fool proof!!!
I feel like this grow kit is nearly impossible to mess up. The first photo is day 4, and the last is day 9. I started it about 2 or three days after I got it in the mail, thought maybe I wasn't giving it enough moisture or airflow, but then it EXPLODED in growth over the last 3 days. Takes up minimal counter space, includes the humidity bag, spray bottle, all the things you need. If you know anyone who likes mushrooms, or is interested in trying Lions Mane for their health, this is the way to go for a fun gift. I love that it's cheap and it's fun to watch grow. It looks so cool!!! As a side note, I used the little door that you tear off the front, drew a two week calendar on it and covered it with a clear bag patch (very strong clear tape), and am using it like a dry erase reminder board.
