These are fantastic candles that look very real with melted wax dripping, electrical wire looks like a wick and the flame shaped bulb flickers like a real flame. They require two AA batteries and I have had these "ON" for five continuous weeks and they are still as bright and functional as when I first turned them on. I highly recommend them

Very nice. Realistic. Very pleased about the quality at this price point. I do wish I had spent a bit more for candles with a remote although these are just fine.i gave them four stars because they are slimmer than most and it was very difficult to rig up something that kept them straight in the holder.

These are terrific! LIt flames make me nervous and these will allow me to now light shabbos candles as my beloved mom who passed at 101 did. Perfectly fit, securely in her candlesticks. The tiny "flames" at the top are delicate and flicker realistic, especially impressed with attention to detail of wax "drips" on the sides. No remote imo needed, Color is white to off white, they won't give enough light for a power outage to do much by, but I am very pleased with them.

They work fine, but I probably should have done more research. These do not in fact include a remote, instead you have to twist the bottoms to get them to work. This is unfortunate, as I constantly have to remove them from the candle holder to turn on and off. They are at my desk, and I find myself just not wanting to turn them on at all. They are pretty, but I wish they worked with a remote.
