Very sturdy cosplay accessory. I wasn’t expecting much from these, but they are good quality for the price. The material for the blades is soft, lightweight, but dense. The chain is plastic, but also very sturdy. Great as a toy that would actually last awhile even against regular play, great cosplay or costume accessory.

The axe comes in two pieces with a dowel to put the top and bottom halves together. The holes for the dowels weren't a good fit and my son jury rigged a fix by taping the halves together with duct tape and painting/decorating the tape. It looked good.

Great quality for the price! Just had to put some light force to put it together! It does come in two parts.

This extremely detailed axe is a big favorite of my son, who was *beyond overjoyed* to receive it for his third birthday. It is flexible, soft and safe for the best antics of childhood, and it comes apart in half (not too easily) to make a smaller one, which he prefers now.
