What’s the inseam length and waist for a large

Inseam probably a 29,30; waist for large 34 ,I think

Why does thier ad say American knit but the product say made in Mexico? Just wondering if these are a cheaper knock off?

The majority of the manufacturing process for these occurs in the United States. The cut parts are sent to Mexico for assembly and then sent back to our mill in North Carolina. This is why we say "Designed and Knit in America". Sewing and packaging are the only part of the process that occur outside of the US.

I wear a 38 in the waist, should i size up to xl?

I wear size 40. I went to 2XL for comfort. 38 but not a fat 38 should be fine with XL. I used to wear XL when I was a 38. I need XXL because of my rump roast. Funny but true.
