As per it's price, it's quantity and quality are decent. Doesn't make the water cloudy. The soil particles doesn't break or get loosen sudden when you add those in to the water.Low tech plants do grow well.

Loved the quality of the substrate, it was just right for my aquatic plants and shrimp, the water clarity has been great, after 1 month of usage. The plants are thriving and have grown new shoots and roots thanks to the nutrients in the substrate. Very useful and keeps the tank clean.

DO NOT GET THIS PRODUCT. The individual particles are coated and look glossy and are very hard to the touch. This isn't how aqua soil is supposed to be. Dont skimp out on money and get this, you will regret it in the future when the soil stops leeching ammonia and you have to resort to root tabs. Since the individual soil pellets are hard, glossy, it doesn't absorb water well and makes planting a hassle especially carpet plants which I had got it for. Stay away from this product.

Good plant growth

It's been in my tank 2 months and already the soil is breaking apart and not holding their shape. But my plants are growing fine.

Solid planted substrate option. The granule sizing allows aquatic plant roots to anchor easily, and the soil pellets resist breaking down into mud under continuous water column flow over long periods.

Good product but buy 5 litres packets if you want a good thick substrate for a medium size tank
