An Emotional Rollercoaster
Gosh, where do I even begin with this one? This book was AMAZING—I think it might be the best one in the series yet!Liz has done it again! This book is an absolute gem that takes you on a whirlwind of emotions. Kai and Miller’s story is incredibly relatable, especially for anyone trying to juggle work, family, and the pursuit of their dreams. The struggle to find that balance and figure out what truly matters hits close to home. The writing is smooth and consistent, making it easy to get lost in the story. Plus, the journey is even more delightful with the return of some of our favourite characters from Liz’s previous books. It’s like catching up with old friends while diving into a fresh, new adventure.✨ Found family✨ Dual POV✨ Single dad x nanny romance✨ Coaches daughter twist✨ Grumpy x Sunshine vibesThis book is a must-read! 😍Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️Emotional Outburst: 💧💧

So Hot
Words cannot describe just how much fun i had reading this!! Everything about it was perfection and i enjoyed every second, all the highs and lows, miscommunication and the inevitable falling in love between Kai and Miller. I'm usually not one for stories that have children in them either but baby Max was so adorable it was hard not to enjoy reading about him!Maybe i'm a changed woman now and i really like the nanny x dad trope because i could not put this book down! Honestly i was thinking about reading it and how good the story was all of the time.Like i said before Kai, Miller and Max were adorable and i really loved their characters, even more so the development that Miller goes through, because lets be honest it was mostly her that was stopping them from being in a relationship the most.Saying that though, all of the characters in this book were freaking amazing and so unique. It really didn't seem like a copy and paste situation at all. I loved how much Miller got on with the rest of the Baseball lads and formed her own connections with them all, just the same as she did with Kai's other friends. The ending had me in actual tears too. The moment Max called her Mum i was a gonner and even though i knew this would have a happy ending and everything would work itself out i was still so devastated when she did leave and carry on with her career. I am glad though in some small part that she didn't just give everything up for him straight away, and that she took the time away from her family to think about what it was that she wanted. Again i was in tears when his friends were getting married and she was waiting for him inside the house as a surprise, and the article was the sweetest gods damned thing i have ever read.Honestly, i don't think this book could have had a better ending, everything about it was so sweet and exactly how it should have finished.

Such a good book
I loved reading this book so much. The writing, the characters, and the plot were all utterly amazing and so hooking in their own ways. I am a massive fan of single dad and nanny romance books, and this book really brought all of that with it. The Windy City Series is one of my favourite sport romance series and this book really helped to solidify how I feel and I just know that the next book is going to be amazing and I need it now!!!Our characters are so perfect in this book, and the tropes that are paired along with them were such a good choice of the authors. Kai is the starting pitcher for Chicago's MBL team and has an adorable 15 month old son who you can't help but love as well. Our FMC is called Miller, and she is Kai's coaches daughter and ends up nannying for Kai's son Max, I love the forbiddeness that we get from these tropes paired together.Definitely safe to say that this was not a smooth sailing romance and took numerous obstacles to get over for their relationship to end up how it is at the end of the book. And the wait was definitely worth it. The thing I love about Liz's books is how invested I get with the characters and just wanting them go make the right decision and thankfully they do at the end of the book after pages of feeling on edge. I loved reading this book and seeing Miller and Kai's relationship improve so much and I can't wait to see more of them along with the other 2 couples from the first 2 books when we finally get Kai's brothers book!

One of my top reads of the year 🧡
Just when I didn’t think this series could get any better, Liz went and wrote this absolute stunner of a book!I am not sure this review will do this book justice, but I’m going to try my best. The moment I met Miller, I knew I was going to love her. She’s feisty, loves a bit of banter, breaking glass ceilings in a male dominated profession and has the biggest heart. Kai was an absolute favourite too! His loyalty and determination to look after the people around him was so admirable and he was the perfect dad to Max. Baseball daddy indeed. There was no denying Kai and Millers immediate connection and I loved that they both found it so hard to stick to the rules they laid out. The spice was perfect and just the right amount of tension! I loved how they bounced off each other, bringing total balance to their relationship.I loved seeing all the different relationships here: brothers, new friends, father/daughter, father/son. But I think the relationship Miller had with Monty really stole my heart. Liz portrayed these relationships perfectly, to bring more depth to the story and show all the different types of love, no matter what the beginnings 🧡I cried so hard guys. Some happy and some sad, but the journey was worth it. No unnecessary drama, loveable characters and I adored seeing our earlier couples 🥹*𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬*𝐆𝐞𝐧𝐫𝐞: contemporary romance𝐓𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐬: single dad + nanny, sports romance ⚾️, wild-child FMC, responsible MMC, one bed, coaches daughter, dual pov𝐑𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐞: 🌶️🌶️.5

Amazingly beautiful
Every time I finish a book from this series I tell myself “that’s my favorite one”. Well, this one actually is. I don’t remember feeling so many emotions from a reading, but I’m so grateful I got to meet this family. I’ll take this book in my heart for the rest of my days. M family, you’re the most beautiful thing I’ve ever got the pleasure to read 🩵

The perfect mix of funny, sweet and spicy!
There’s so many things I loved about this book; it was the perfect mix of funny, sweet, spicy and the tension made me want to shake both Miller and Kai and tell them to just kiss already so many times in the best way 😂I will say, Liz Tomforde writes the best book boyfriends 🥹❤️ Kai was so perfect and I loved him so much and he must be protected at all costs. I love his personality and how he was so invested in his son, his brother, and later Miller. He is the most selfless person, always gave everything to everyone and he never asked for anything in return. The way he loved his son made my heart melt! I also loved seeing little peaks of the old him mixed with him being a single dad was perfect… 🤭I also really loved Miller. I understood where she came from with her never staying in one place and feeling like she will never be good enough to thank her dad for everything he gave up for her. Her story was perfect and it really helped understand her character. It was so nice seeing her learn to love to bake again and to bake for the ones she loves! I also really loved watching her and Max together, and some moments made my heart melt and almost made me cry. I also really love the relationship she had with her dad and I love watching her become more vulnerable as the story went on.The romance between Kai and Miller was perfect to me! I love how they went from dislike to friends to “let’s get it out of our systems” to lovers, and the pacing of their relationship was perfect! I love the conversations they had and how they got to know one another and how their relationship felt really believable! I also am such a sucker for sport romance and single dad and nanny tropes and I found it was so well done! The supporting characters really added so much to the story, and I can’t wait to see Isaiah and Kennedy’s story next as I really loved them in this book!5⭐️

Ahora me gusta el béisbol
La historia se desarrolla muy bien. Kai el protagonista es una bandera verde andante.La historia entre los protagonistas es orgánica y cero forzada, pero sobre todo me encantó el toque de comedia que tiene la historia.Excelente libro 5/5
