Baxton Studio Alvis Green Velvet and Brown Wood 2-Piece Dining Nook Set

I’ve been so excited for this piece to arrive! The box is massive. So make sure you have help or a good dolly cart. It’s not that heavy thankfully! Easy assembly! Also these benches are so comfortable and the green is so lux! I’m just so so happy about this product!

I’m enjoying this and have rearranged it several times since purchasing it. I added the cow hides to add drama and like the look. I didn’t move anything as I like to show exactly how I use it. I throw my gym bag there every day, and add a bottle to the bag daily.

At first, I was really upset because I thought that this came with no legs however I did find them. They’re actually under the zipper so if you guys get this look under the zipper for the legs and it has the bolts as well. I panicked a little bit but now I’m feeling better. Love this product.

It’s pretty but wobbly. The material feels lovely and the padding is firm. The back legs were machined differently from each other, so I had to add 3 felt furniture pads under a leg to keep it from wobbling when sitting down on one end. The kicker is it cost $40 to ship and wouldn’t be eligible for free returns. I’ve contacted the seller to discuss remedying this issue. 7/18/26 EDIT: after further inspection, I think the frame is twisted. Customer service emailed me within 24 hours and called me as well, but I was busy so I missed them. I’ve emailed video and hope to hear back. I’m not encouraged though because I had a dumpster delivery the week before and due to the large pieces of styrofoam packing, threw out the original packaging two days ago…which has all the identifying information (model and batch number).

I am in LOVE with the look and feel of the fabric. It’s a hard bench though… it looks soft so it’s a surprise when you sit down. But for an eating bench, I think it’s perfect. Love the woods legs and how easy it was to put together.

Zipper broke on the underneath part, dumb!

I really like it. I kinda prefer that it is a bit hard to sit on bc I’m using it for dining not a sofa. The 2 pieces do not connect. I am fine with that though. It was very easy to put together and arrived 4 days early. Maybe the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is all the formaldehyde warnings.

Cheaply made and seating is really low…my table is 29 inches high and a bit to high for this….can’t find any tables that are lower
