I have done a few similar miniature kits, and this one might be my favorite! The instructions were clear and easy to follow throughout the process and all of the pieces were there and intact. Keep in mind that the pieces are very small and can be tedious to put together, but it is generally a fun process to see it come together. The finished product looks great as well! It is very cute. The lights do flicker a bit, but that might have been my fault in connecting the wires. It honestly doesnt take away much from it in general. I would recommend this set, especially at its relatively cheap price point. It comes with tweasers, a ruler, and an exacto knife but does not come with glue so plan accordingly. I used gorrilla glue super glue which worked well.

SO cute! kids are really enjoying putting this together. hours of entertainment! very neatly packaged and instructions are pretty clear - could be better though;)

I had a difficult time with this. Not very detailed instructions and LOTS of pieces. I was able to piece it together with my own common sense and it came together but looks more like a school project. NOT kid friendly at all either!! I will probably get better with time and for the price point I would buy another set and try again. All in all worth the money and I would have another go at it. Also did not come with the glue to put everything together. Missing a star for that and the horrible instructions.

This was so therapeutic to put together! Quality is so good and I didn’t even realize it was also a music box! Everything I needed was included except for scissors, AAA batteries, and glue - use B-7000 glue or you’ll get frustrated with gluing all the tiny parts. It took me about 20 hours to complete (no rushing and being extra careful). I wouldn’t really say it’s a child activity since it’s so intricate - maybe age 12 and up. It’s so adorable! Planning to order more book nooks for my shelves.

The instructions are not very clear and make it very difficult to follow along. It's a lot of cutting, so have scissors on hand. It also did not come with glue, even though the instructions say it does. So I had to find some glue for it. The quality is meh. Nothing fantastic. It's cute, but overall was more of a pain in the butt than it was worth.

This is terrible, unable to clip peace and difficulty glueing.

So detailed. You create each object. These kits will make time disappear. I get so sucked in and zone out of everything else. I'm an addict at this point and can't tell you why these things make me so happy. Not for children, not for anyone who lacks patience, not for people who aren't detailed oriented. The instructions must be followed exactly, yet the instructions aren't the easiest to clearly understand. Great for honing your problem solving skills...

Love making these. Came with most the tools I needed. Very easy to make, do the lights and no missing parts.

Really fun to assemble

I am about 3/4 done and I am enjoying it. All the little items are so fun to make and the instructions are great. So far all the pieces are looking great. Only thing that could have been better is the paper the images are printed on. Would have been nice on a thicker or glossy type high definition printer to being out the details. But all in all works well anyway. Loving this nook. Highly recommend.
