I’ve tried several mineral salts over the years, including Himalayan pink salt, Celtic sea salt, and Redmond Real Salt. Baja Gold has become my go-to. Every morning I add a small pinch to 16 fl oz of spring water as part of my daily routine before I have coffee. One of the reasons I chose Baja Gold is because it’s naturally rich in trace minerals and is minimally processed. I like knowing I’m getting a wide variety of naturally occurring minerals instead of just plain sodium chloride. The flavor is another reason I keep buying it. It has a clean, mild taste without the harsh or metallic aftertaste I’ve noticed with some other mineral salts. It also works great on steaks, eggs, vegetables, and just about anything else that needs a finishing salt. The salt is slightly moist because it retains its natural mineral content, so don’t expect perfectly dry crystals like refined table salt. That’s normal and part of what makes it different. It’s more expensive than regular salt, but for the quality, taste, and versatility, I think it’s well worth it. After trying several brands, Baja Gold has earned a permanent place in my kitchen and my morning routine.

I bought this to have mineralized water in the morning to get my electrolytes. A lot cheaper than LMNT which is a great product, but this bag will last me a long, long time. Great tasting and we use it for all kinds of cooking too!

The salt is very course and salty. I bought it for the natural mineral content, but primarily use it in all of my cooking. Had to adjust the amount and use much less than regular kosher salt.

Baja gold is absolutely wonderful for cooking or just a beautiful mineral to put in your cup of ice water with Limon

No other salt i have ever bought has the flavor enhancing that this salt has! It must be the natural minerals that Baja Salt has in it. That's my only explanation but it truly is awesome! If you want to add an amazing flavor profile to your cooking and salads, you have GOT to give this a try! Since I’ve been taking the salt in the morning my health condition Improved. I feel more energetic and helps me keep my body hydrated. Also, it’s a great product for cooking and it has perfect taste. 100% natural and that was what I was looking for. The package is big enough and will last me for the whole year.
