This magnifying glass and light stand is great quality and value for money. I bought this for my mum for her to do her diamond paintings and she loves it. The light is nice and bright with different shades and brightness so you can adjust it to suit you. It was easy to put together and has a good weight to it so it won't fall over and it's easy to adjust it to where you need it and the glass is nice and clear. Overall I'm very happy with it 😀

I bought this lamp for crafting and reading. The mechanical parts work OK if a bit clunky but it does stay in the position it's put in without dropping. The stand is just the right height for my desk or armchair and the weight in the base keeps it stable. I haven't tried the desk clamp but it looks sturdy enough. The magnification is good and the light is bright enough at its highest setting. The light itself is comprised of 36 LED bulbs. I know they last a long time but I do wonder about getting replacements. The USB cable is approximately 4' 6" in length and carries the switch. I think the switch could be a weak point. I've had devices with similar and they seem to be the first thing to fail. Overall I'd say it is good for the price. Update. I bought this less than four months ago. The pin on the lamps arm that fits into the stand has sheared off rendering the lamp unusable. Its made of thin mild steel and was to weak to stand up to everyday use. I withdraw all stars. Do not buy it's not fit for purpose!

The usb connection already detached in 3 months very disappointed

I bought this on the suggestion of someone who said that it might help with my daughters dyslexia. She finds it hard to focus on pages, esp smaller font size. She would find the that letters would jumble up on the page and she would struggle to focus on sentences. Using the magnifier helps her to narrow down sections which are then easier to focus on. We'd previously tried colour overlays and even coloured paper, but this isn't always practical, esp in a classroom environment and with lots going on. The light/magnifier has def made a difference and something that I wouldn't have thought of trying before. Hope this might help others who also struggle, it's def worth a try.

Not robust enough for an elderly person with limited vision and poor manual dexterity. The lamp section is not properly fixed to the base and is liable to become detached and crash to the floor. In changing the angle of the lamp, the wires are liable to work loose, thereby breaking the connection to the LED magnifier. The one I bought for my elderly cousin has packed up in about 18 months. Very disappointing. Shame on Amazon for selling such rubbish!

So had the lamp for a good while now, sadly the base has fallen apart 😢

I was a bit skeptical before but it is a good product. Nice and bright LEDs and good size to move around with the swan neck. Base pretty ok does stand up well without the rick of tipping over. Recommended.

Got for my elderly dad, good quality, does what expected

Mooi ontwerp, fijn om verschillende lichtkleur en sterktes te kunnen gebruiken.

Für meine Zwecke, die Malerei, durchaus brauchbar. Sehr angenehm. Das helle Licht. Leider ohne Netzteil geliefert. Ich behelfe mir mit einem Handy Netzteil. Kritik ist der Verzauberung Grad zum einen, was aber in dieser Preisklasse durchaus hinnehmbar ist und wenn man sich etwas an den richtigen Augen Abstand gewöhnt hat Klappt das auch mit der Vergrößerung. Die kleine Lupe in des, die mit eingearbeitet ist, ist völlig unnötig und unbrauchbar. Man würde diese besser weglassen.

Il pulsante accensione luce è troppo sensibile. Per niente si accende luce, detto ciò, quando te ne accorgi si è scaricata totalmente.
