Exactly what was ordered. Excellent quality. Allows for finger placement on the guitar strings and the ability to use the slide! Way less cumbersome than a standard slide!

When ordering, please read the sizing chart very carefully. I bought this for my ring finger and using the standard ring size. However, the spring seemed to not hold enough pressure, and it would move around. When I asked support if they had anything that could tighten the springs, they informed me that it was meant to be placed on the middle finger. When I tried to add it to my middle finger, it fit much better, but the width was just a bit too wide for me to really use that finger and bend it for playing (when not using the slide). Additionally, I lost 115 pounds since I bought the slide. So now I have to go back and repurchase the smaller size. Well worth the investment. However, it works, and it works great. I love the sound. You do not get the full bar slide sound, but it is not designed for that. You really get to concentrate on specific strings to emphasize the slide with full accompanying sounds. My only suggestion are: Please change the sizing from "small fingers, regular fingers, large fingers" into something more specific. My fingers are small compared to my father, but regular compared to my friends. So it was a toss-up of what size to actually order. Also, for the smaller size, if you could take a millimeter off the width to help the fingers bend, that would be awesome.

Narrow and difficult to get used to but sounds great

Great quality. Thick metal, might feel a bit heavy but not too much. Requires some practice to get used to playing with it but the ability to play as if there was no slide on your finger is a gamechanger!

I really wanted to like this slide. It goes on easy, stays put, and allows you to use all your fingers just like they say. However, I found it too narrow for my use. Granted, I'm not much of a slide player. However, I played worse when trying to use this slide ring. I had trouble getting a good sound on a single string and had a heck of a time getting two strings to play well. I went back to my regular old glass slide and sounded so much better. This is a well crafted product. For someone that's more advanced in the art of slide guitar, it will probably work great for you. It just wasn't the right thing for me.

To be honest I want to like this product. I have been playing a long time and I think that it is a great idea. I also think that it is well made and can sound great. But it is a different type of slide than I have ever played with. It takes some getting used to. I gave it 5 stars because it is well made and exactly what is claimed. I will need more time to master its use.

Unique design and concept. Poor execution forces tricky slide position, forcing to wear above nuckle. Is what it is I guess, but expensive.

Like the size of this slide. The slide is heavy and it has a good sound. Fits nicely, not too tight and stays put. Easy to use.

Blackmountain slide ring is very comfortable to wear. Sometimes i forget that i’m wearing it. Makes sliding on guitar fun n very easy. Just a great product that dosn’t move around on your finger while sliding or while your playing chords.

The product guide said wear it on the first knuckle of your middle finger, and allow for about 50 hours to get used to it. It allows you to play slide guitar, then play full chords right away. Another benefit to this is that I have really bug knuckles, so I can't play the standard slides. I got the XL size, and it stays on with a spring, which solves that issue. A good addition to your guitar accessories.

This is a quality piece. I did not like it and ended up buying a full slide.

This ring slide is a genius invention. It allows the player to play barre chords and fingered chords like normal, but at a moment’s notice you can throw in some slide licks. It takes a little while to get used to but you will very quickly be strumming and sliding any time you like. The slide fits on your middle finger, and with the aid of the ingenious spring loaded clip inside the slide, it snuggly fits your finger regardless of the size of your finger. If you follow their instructions to measure your finger you will be able to pick the size appropriate for you. Check out the YouTube videos and you will see how well this slide works. I highly recommend this slide for any guitarist interested in adding some slide flair to their playing.

Super quality piece. I returned it because I thought the learning curve would be too much for me. I’ve played guitar literally forever and I just didn’t feel like learning a new trick.
