You will need a tube of clear silicon rtv glue and a good solvent to clean up top of your dash and the bottom of the skin. in my case, the dashboard was broken in two and cracked in several places so i had to remove it to repair it. the clips by the windshield all broken off It is a very easy job, 1/2 hour to remove another 1/2 to install and one whole day to repair and let glues cure. you need a 7mm socket, a stubby #2 philips and a regular one, two of those plastic spatulas to remove the trimming and also like i said before a tube of silicon glue with it's gun. The dash skin I recently purchased for my 2005 Avalanche fits ok,the color is a little off but the texture is not consistent throughout the cover. Installed anyway, wish I would have returned for a replacement. These covers, however, are good problem solvers for a cracked dash. Inspect carefully before installation.
