Steeltoe Boss shoes!!!!
"They're Boss shoes!" Then he happily wore them on site through the mud and muck. He loves them. Great value. Nothing beats leather for site steeltoe shoes and these are! So stylish, and comfortable. Use the shoe spoon to get them on as they are tight.

Be wary of the stiff tongue until you break them in.
Cons: The tongue may be stiff and rough on your ankle at first, so heavy sock are advised when first wearing these. Further, trying to slide your foot in these shoes is a much tighter and snug fit then you would expect from a slip-on. Expect to need to use both hands on those tabs on top of the shoe, to pry it open and slide your foot in initially. Honestly, I do not expect to be able to slip on these shoes without needing at least one hand. Notes: I've already replaced the insoles with a pair with stronger arch support. Not a con, as I basically have to do this with any shoe. I will note, that the thick foam insoles I first tried actually did not feel comfortable with these shoes but rather some insoles similar in width as Keen's normal ones. Pros: 13 Wide is normally what I try to find, sometimes settling for a 13 when I can't. 13-W fit here fits just as I expected. The colors, leather, and design are great for casual or work setting. The heel does not rub, a MAJOR PLUS, nor does the lip at the back. So the heel/back of the shoe is very comfortable. While they are not the lightest shoes I've worn, its well within reason for the durability of the soles and the toes. The leather feels reasonably thick, so not expecting to wear a hole through it anytime soon. All in all? Rather happy with the purchase so far for work, and not adverse to wearing them casually so long as I'm not wearing shorts instead of trousers. Definitely wearing thick socks with them starting out though. Looks? Doesn't stand out too much from my typical loafer, so quite happy with the look. Nothing obtrusively "work" or safety about them visually, so I will likely be willing to wear them with anything but shorts in the summer casually.

Comfortable, but tab broke after 3rd use
Nice shoes. The mouth was a little tight around the ankle but they have little pull tabs in the front and back to allow for the elastic to be stretched. This worked well and the shoes were comfortable and stylish. UPDATE: I got the next half size up and everything was much more comfortable. No pinch issues around the ankles and the tab did not break because I no longer need to put the pressure on it. Only issue was that one of those pull tabs wasn't properly stitched and pulled loose on the 3rd use. Disappointing that the return window had just passed.

Love this shoe
I just received these shoes yesterday (9.5 black) and I wore them to work today. So far I absolutely love them. They fit perfectly and are extremely comfortable. I don't know why this shoe doesn't have a higher rating, I can only guess it might be because of the weight. Hey, if you want a superlight shoe maybe this isn't for you. I didn't notice the weight at all while wearing them. I especially liked the cushioning in the heel, very nice. I really like the styling also. I didn't see another shoe on Amazon that looked like this with the features it has. I'll almost definitely buy the brown and eventually I might buy an extra pair of each because it seems like as soon as I find a clothing item I like, immediately they stop making it :-(

Opening to tight
Once on, the shoe is awesome and looks great, but getting them on was near impossible. The opening was so tight my wife, who wears a size 7.5 (I wear size 10) could barely get them on, so I had to send them back.

Will not be buying again
So much for work shoes, they have started falling apart after only 3ish months wear. They have no water resistance even though they say that it does, and over not very good quality.

Great fit and sturdy
Purchased for outdoor gardening and yard work. They seem to be well constructed and the fit is great. I can stand and work in these all day and my feet feel good with the support provided.

These shoes are great, I wear them everyday for work and they're so comfortable. Its taken a beating since the start of the year when I bought them, everything from demolition debris, to metalworking and woodworking dust. The carbon toe is strong enough for me to rest heavy doors and cabinets on the shoe while I transition my grip. The little strap on the back of the shoe makes this such a breeze. I'm guilty of stepping on the back of the shoe and wearing them like sliders. Most shoes will deform permanently, but not these Keens. After popping them back upright, they were as good as new. 10/10 will recommend. Will buy again when these wear out.

Good comfortable fit along with a triply sole makes for a good work shoe. Just not green patch rated.

Typical KEEN quality with nice leather. This shoe was billed as having a cushioned "running shoe" midsole, grippy outsole rubber that was oil, slip, and electric shock resistant, and a composite carbon fibre toe for protection. It was ALL of those things. Unfortunately, the width of the shoe, despite ordering the wide version, was too narrow for me. The picture I took shows the Targhee3 Oxford hiker on the left and the Vista Energy on the right. The toe box on the Vista is not as wide and prevented me from keep them. 5 starts to Amazon.ca for making returns easy. I will probably try the Targhee3 slip on shoe next since the Targhee line seems to have the wide toe box that fits me well. The Vista would probably get 5 stars from someone without a 4E foot.
