Great Product, light weight, well made.
Great little, light weight riser that I can use for my small 13" laptop to allow air flow as well as more comfortable typing. I purchased the smaller version of the Steepy Portable stand. I have used the sticky feet in the past on my older laptops, but I like this being separate instead of glued on. Just my personal preference. Does seem a bit overpriced, but what doesn't seem overpriced anymore. I like how the Steepy has different elevations depending on which way you lay it on your table/desktop. It works well under my husbands 17" laptop. I am glad I didn't buy the larger one, but again that would be personal preference.

A handy general purpose prop-it-up stand with tons of uses
I'm really pleased with this clever little stand, which I've found out is actually available in two different handy sizes. The larger size is about 5.5 inches long and is great for propping up the back of a laptop on a desk or table, which makes for more ergonomic typing and much cooler operation. The smaller size, at 3.93 inches in length, is just right for smaller jobs like propping up the back of a phone or small tablet for better multimedia viewing - or in my case - for propping up the front of my smaller QRP Ham Radio Sets during field operation to make the front panel display easier to see and the controls easier to access. Some of the lower review scores seem to result from folks unexpectedly getting the smaller size, so make sure to order the size you will find most useful. The Steepy's support arms have been cleverly configured at slightly offset angles so that there are actually SIX ways to side-to-side orient the Steepy depending on the job at hand, 3 different heights x 2 different left to right orientations. Basically, at each of 3 heights, you can twirl the Steepy around 180 degrees left-to-right so that the side-to-side upper support arm either leans slightly towards you, or slightly away from you, which can help improve support depending on your application. For example, contrary to some of the promo pics in the Amazon listing, I have found that when propping up the REAR of a laptop you will most likely want the Steepy oriented so its upper support arm is ANGLED SLIGHTLY FORWARD (not leaning away as shown). That way when you prop your laptop on it, the Steepy will be leaning into the underside of the laptop at a better angle giving more stable support. This orientation change (sloping-forward or sloping-back), is easily handled as you set the Steepy down. For example, when I prop up the FRONT of one of my HAM radios, I flip the Steepy around left to right so its vertical support is leaning slightly AWAY from me (which is leaning INTO the underside of the radio it's supporting). This is a neat feature since one orientation generally works better when propping up the BACK of something like a laptop or tablet, where the other way around seems to work best when when propping up the FRONT. Occasionally, this rule may be reversed if the device has a ridge or slot along its underside that gives the Steepy better grip and stability in the opposite orientation, but this is easily checked since, worst case, you can just quickly flip the Steepy around and check out all SIX orientations and note the one that works best. The Steepy is a fairly simple item, and at first I thought the price was (no pun intended) just a little steep, but the quality metal construction and clever flexible design have made a believer out of me. No doubt, I will still be finding new uses for these handy little stands years from now (long after the devices I am currently using them with have gone to electronic recycle), and that makes them a great value; now, and for years to come!

The rubber edge protectors keep falling off
The rubber edge protectors keep falling off. Otherwise these work great. They should be glued on. If they are designed to come off if people want them off (I don;t know why they would) then sell a version without the rubber protectors. It is a nuisance to keep putting them back on. At least they basicallly hold but are always coming off.

Must need for laptops
This this is a tiny but mighty. Love it. Keeps just enough flow under your laptop to stay cool. I would give it 10 stars or higher

Rubber Strips Coming Off
Concept is very good. I would give it 4 stars except for that the rubbers edges peel off when the laptop is moved even slightly like when lid is opened. This can cause the triangle to rotate. The adhesive is not working. I will try some super glue and see if that will cure the issue.

I use it daily but the rubber bumpers are loose after 6 months making it unusable.
I’m giving this a 1 star because after 6 months the rubber bumpers are loose (one started to loosen soon after purchase). Now they are all coming apart. I’ve spent more than the original $20 purchase price trying to find a glue that binds the rubber material to the aluminum. I really wanted to like this and this is a 5 star item that is useless due to the quality issue. Here’s why I like it if you ignore the quality issue. It has multiple angles for use with my iPad and iPhone. I use my iPad to view patterns in my chair while working on crafts. Before I would lay it flat on my chair’s arm. But that made the viewing angle too flat. With the stand, I can easily view my pattern at the proper angle. I also take it with me when I want to prop up my phone for viewing videos on a table. It’s small enough to carry, but it nicely supports either of my devices. iPhone supports both portrait and landscape positions. I will likely buy another one and pay close attention to the return period. If there is any sign of the same issue I won’t wait to return it.

Ansonsten: prima Teil!
