So, my 8 years old boy produces so much earwax that I could make a candle business out of him. My wife, and I to some extent, are not fans of inserting stuff in anyone's ears. However, if we never cleaned my kid's ears, he'd go around oozing earwax out of his ears, so it's not like we have a choice. I try to solve as much as I can with technology, and talking with my sister about this kid situation, she told me I should get an "earwax removal tool", which I had no idea even existed. I came into amazon, typed those same words, and I chose this one because of price and reviews (being a bit skeptic about it, to be honest). Keep in mind that this tool did not change my mind about inserting stuff inside ears, I still believe that it should be a last option. As a good dad, I decided to test it on myself first (see seriously gross video). I do produce quite a bit of earwax myself (still nowhere near my son's candle factory), so I went at it a few days after this arrived. My first thought was "how on earth is silicon going to grab earwax?". Well, it does, and pretty well too. Connecting this to my phone was as simple as connecting it to any WiFi, except that my phone constantly complains about "WiFi does not have internet", but it stays connected as long as I tell my phone to ignore the fact that it has no internet connection. The app is super simple (if you're wondering, it's called "EndscopeTool", at least on Android), and has 0 trackers (according to Exodus app), but it will ask for Storage permissions (you don't need it if you don't use the recording feature). It only has what I need to work this, and the camera is pretty high definition for it's size, in my opinion (that lens is seriously tiny). I can record the removal (not that I think that's useful at all, who wants to see earwax removal videos?), but above everything, it works. For this price, after I test the longevity of this thing, if it lasts anything over 6 months, I'm totally getting another one to have for replacement. Since I've never before used anything like this, I've no idea of what the cons may be (other than it goes inside the ear), but these are the pros I can find to having one of these: - The light is super bright, as you can see in the video - The charging port is USB-C (finally someone understands that micro USB is no longer a thing) - It very lightweight - Comes with quite a few washable replacement silicon tips - It's pseudo-waterproof (only the stick with the camera is waterproof, not the rest of the body, so be mindful of that), which makes for easy cleaning - It has an "eardrum proximity alert" (no idea how that works, but I make sure it doesn't get in too far anyway) Sure, since I have NEVER looked inside my own ear while cleaning it before, it took a few tries to get used to it, but cleaning my kid's ears was super easy though. So far, I'm glad I got this, it is going to make my life a bit easier, and at the end of the day, that's what tech is supposed to do for us, right? There's a bunch of other parts and sticks that came in the packaging, no idea what they do, but I don't want to insert anything else into my kid's ears anyway, so not using them.

Camera works surprisingly well but it's not quite as good as they say it is. The connectivity was amazing. Super fast and easy. Did not expect it to work so well. All in all a good product that I would buy again if I needed a new one.

For some reason, whenever I hear earwax removal tool, I expect it to use gushing water. When the package arrived I was surprised how small it was and that it didn't use any water. While the package is small and unassuming, I have to say the camera is amazing. It came precharged and took less then 60 seconds to download the app and connect for the first time. As you can see in the disgusting picture, this camera is clear and shows video in realtime. You can see more then you ever want to see. Using the included tool I was able to get some excess earwax out! Now, this also cam with a package of earwax removal Accessories. Unfortunately, there are no instructions on how to use the additional tools so I'm not touching those unless I know what I'm doing. Regardless, the additional tools were a free bonus as the actual device, camera and earwax removal scoop work great. If you want a cleaner alternative to water or a bulb give this a try.

The product is really cool and high tech. You can see what is going on in your ear on your smartphone. The image is very clear. Connection is simple. Initially I thought it is supposed to connect with the phone via bluetooth like you would connect with your earbuds. but it actually is connected via changing the network connection. Instead of picking a bluethooth device on your phone, you need to go to wireless connection to select the network of the device. Other than that everything works fine.

I bought this device because I was curious as to whether it was really that easy to remove wax from the ears. I was able to set it up pretty quickly and the instructions were easy to follow. It does connect to the wifi instead of bluetooth which I was somewhat surprised about. Interestingly enough, the device came with the battery with a good amount of power which allowed we to connect it and test it on my husband. He did not report any uncomfortable feeling or pain while I was using it, and it was pretty fun/gross to see what the inside of the ear looks like with a camera. Pros: the quality of the camera is amazing and clear. The device holds enough charge for multiple uses. It is slick and fits comfortably in your hands, also it was pretty similar to a pen light. Cons: it is confusing at first to get used with how to navigate the ear canal with this device. I found that the speculum (or spatula) used for wax removal is too pliable and easily bends inside the ear. It’s made of a bendy rubber, which in my opinion makes it more difficult to scoop the wax out. The device came with multiple attachments but it does not have anything in the instructions on how to use it or what are their purposes. Honestly, for the amount of time and money spent, you can buy debrox over the counter, drop in your ears and flush it with some warm water. There is a risk of puncturing your tympanic membrane and causing an injury inside your ear so I would be cautious poking too much inside.

I’ve always wanted to get one of these endoscopic ear cameras but wasn’t sure if they were worth the splurge. Are they even safe? Reliable? Is the camera quality good enough? I finally decided to grab one and to answer these questions - yes! This one is excellent! Not only does it charge via USB-C (like everything else including the new iPhones) but it’s easy to setup and works wirelessly with an app! Setup took me about 90 seconds from downloading the app to connecting it to my phone. You just click the power button on the endoscope to turn it on and connect to the device with the app. The camera quality is quite good, at least HD quality, and the light is more than bright enough. If you need more tips, the box comes with many extras in a cute little container. I like that the video feed can be mirrored and there’s a recording feature if you’re into that. I personally find it safer than other options because of the one piece design, although I’m not worried about breaking the tip. It checks all the boxes for me and I’d recommend it!

Tried so many products to help with ear wax, but this is definitely the tool you need. Fiddly to start but easy to use once you've had a few tries. Use with the Earol spray and you'll have wax free ears quickly. Defo recommend 👌.

I am a bit OCD with my ear cleaning routine. Have purchased a few of these camera sticks, this one by far has the best camera on it. Highly recommend

The app was easy to set up, the picture comes up on the screen & you can take photos. The gentle silicone sleeves at the end of the scope are a gentle way to remove earwax.
