**Q: on the 20inch version, are the holes 16 inches apart to allow for mounting to studs easily?**
A: No -I bought the 15.5 in shelf and the holes are 9.5 inches appart. I managed to catch one stud. Although, it was screwed into old wood paneling, holding up very well. I bought it to hold a small TV sound bar.

**Q: Hi, can this be placed in the shower and will be there be water damage?**
A: Hello, this metal floating shelf is waterproof and rust-proof, suitable for bathrooms and showers.

**Q: How much weight can the 16 inch shelf hold?**
A: I’d say 5lbs…. Like bag of C&S sugar. You’ll need to use a decent anchor but the shelf is a good thickness of aluminum. Nicely made.

**Q: How do I get the nail glue off tile wall when I’m ready to remove?**
A: Hi, Iam an appointment manager / maintenance…. If you have yet to use nail glue and are just asking for future reference, I would use something else as the glue might only take of the paint and or texture plaster.

Most properly company now don’t allow for holes but if it’s ok in your situation I’d use anchors. The small plastic type should suffice.

If it’s already been hung and you need to remove the nail glue… try carefully reducing it with a razor if possible. If you have shackle and paint, I’d just out right cut it from the wall & fill it in.
