Respiro Relaxed, Unisex Bike Seat with Ventilation Channel for Extra Comfort, Black, One Size

I am almost 80 so have a bony behind. I can’t count the number of seats I have tried. The wider YLGs worked the best but that sewn front edge put pressure on back of my thighs. Soft, spongy seats like Cloud9 offered little support resulting in messing up my back. I had to change my thinking and realize wide seats may not match my physiology. That’s when I decided to try the Selle Royal Respiro Relaxed. It looked like something from a torture chamber when I first installed it. And it felt a bit odd the first time I sat on it. But after 2 miles I realized I had not even thought about the seat. And that is the way it should be! Don’t get me wrong, after 18miles my butt is still feeling it. But stopping every 5 miles or so, just to stretch a bit makes all the difference in the world. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought a seat this narrow could be so comfortable. There is no pressure on the back of my thighs. It has a fully functional vent that also provides space for my man junk. And it fully supports my sit bones with no back pain.

Cool, comfortable and doesn't look like a tractor seat.

The seat is very comfortable for longer rides.

Only had for a few months so far so can’t speak for the longevity/durability but so far this is the most comfortable seat I’ve ever owned. I put it on my 2025 Trek FX3 which is an upright hybrid bike with flat handle bars. I mostly do 15-20 mile rides sometimes 25 at the most and the seats comfort holds up well.

80 yrs young biker with an rei coop 2.1 alum. street bike, 24 gears, disc brakes. thought I was being savvy buying this bike as it was priced lower than trek for a lot more I thought. was assured by rei that I could return it if disappointed in any respect. baloney... as I tried to do just that! as a result, I'm sort of stuck with it, so I struggled make it as fun to ride as possible. the 1st prob was the handle bars so I bought an extender to raise it up some. then I tried several saddles without success. my bottom continually went to sleep and ached. I should say that after my 1st ride with this selle(deep seek ai recommended) seat. my bottom stayed awake and ached a whole lot less. wondering if it'll improve with use. maybe I'll harden off down there as well so I can better enjoy my rides. I'm feeling optimistic

Nice bike seat, well designed. I first tried a cheaper knock off product that looks almost exactly like this one but which did not distribute my weight correctly, and had to return it. This product, on the other hand, has some real engineering behind it. After initial install and getting the seat angle adjusted just right, this seat rides really well. If perineum pain is limiting your ride time, this seat will help.

Pretty comfortable. I'd buy again.

Très bonne selle. 100% satisfaite. J'ai enfin trouvé le truc qui me soulage et ne me crée plus de douleurs. (J'en ai testé au poins 4 différentes avant -_-)
