I got two of these units, one to hold art supplies in my home office, the other for inside a closet, to hold sweaters, tops & pants.It's easy but a bit fiddly to assemble these, mostly because I have no patience with stuff like this. But they go together well, I was able to change my mind about the configuration with a minimum of fuss.As to the over all sturdiness and quality - it cost something like $23, why complain? Would I store the heirloom china set from my great-grandma's on this? Or the 500lbs of pennies that I've been collecting since i was ten? No, no I would not. These shelves are thin aluminum pipes and plastic sheeting - they're going to sag & possibly bend or even break with any significant weight.But they're not selling these as shelves that can handle that kind of weight. These are really good for stuffed animal collections, for sweaters & pants, for little kiddie books (on a bottom shelf) and other lightweight items that you want collected & organized. In fact, the design is rather clever - definitely the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. So without a doubt these shelf/cubby units are worth it - but if you're trying to store large, heavy objects - go look for a better quality shelf, but understand that you'll also pay considerably more for it. These are great shelves for the money.

This is an inexpensive way to handle clutter and give things a place. This is not for formal display it is more about organizing a playroom, child's bedroom or storage room. It is surprisingly sturdy after assembly.The cost can't be beat. Assembly is a bit cumbersome and monotonous but not hard. The little wooden hammer is a bit silly and ineffective but most people have a regular hammer that will serve them better as long as they don't get too forceful.

Arrived on time. Everything accounted for. Easy to assemble. Love the versatility that you can make it different shapes and such. Perfect color and size. Sturdy and great for organizing all my arts and crafts supplies. Easy to find bins that fit and look great with it. Love it!

Okay, this shelving set up is great and I am also disappointed in it. Firstly, I will say that it was easy enough to put together. The ends were sharp, but the directions state to be careful using the metal poles as they are sharp. The fabric does feel rather thin, but I am not using it for heavy items so that doesn't bother me. The poles are also quite easy to bend, but again, just take that pre caution when handling. I had ordered the 15 shelf set up, and only received enough for 12. Also, make sure to "knock" them in all the way or I could see it falling over. I used this one for my son's toys, it works great overall. I wouldn't use it for books, or anything heavy but for toys or shoes or t-shirts, socks etc. it is fine. I ordered the 11x11in fabric fold-up bins to use in the shelf, they worked perfect with a little space on the side.

Putting it together is a little tedious but not difficult. I got a little over zealous with the mallet and busted a plastic piece, but it didn't effect the product.It comes in a manageable sized box, all the materials are included and neatly organized, and the directions are very easy to follow.The color is perfect for my classroom, and the aluminum rods and shelving material do give it a lot of support, although I wouldn't put anything super heavy on it.It's a lot more sturdy than I thought it would be, which is nice.There are no screws or tools needed unless you put the stabilizer in the wall to keep it from tipping. Mine is just standing there without the stabilizer, and it's perfectly fine.I will definitely be ordering another one for my art studio. I'm very pleased with the product.

I just clean out a room to make a craft room and I bought this as a temporary fix. I couldn't decide on what I exactly wanted and didn't want to waste money replacing shelving. I thought I would try this seeing that I could add to it or arrange it the way that I want/need. My husband help me to put it together. I am glad he did. I have strength issues in my hands and I wasn't able to get the pieces together as well. I put them in order and he did all the hammering. He tried with the little hammer that came with it, but it didn't work so well. He had a sand filled rubber mallet he used. He put a little block of wood over the ends and hammered away. Minutes later, it was finished. I was able to put every thing away nice and tidy. I don't need anything else. I love it. It is sturdy, doesn't wobble, and if put together right, it holds a lot of weight. One of the best purchases I have made.

You can set it up a few different ways but 4x3 won’t work with the plastic pieces you pop it into. Works great though for displaying loungefly though if you have Loungefly with ears put them on top or something else. Nice that you can mount it into the wall if you aren’t renting. Was bigger than I initially thought but the size is perfect. The material is a little flimsy looking but is actually fairly strong. Comes with a nice little hook rack that you can put on the side.

It’s not that sturdy it’s easy to put together, but it can easily fall apart. The polls aren’t that strong and bend easily if you put something that slightly too heavy. It’s perfect for light folders and light things or for like a decorative thing, but not so much for books or using as a toy organiser I planted.

Product is decent, seems to be stable enough for what I'm using it for. Does wobble a little without anything on it. Flat surface needed, does go together a bit hard if making alone but not impossible to assemble. Price vs product.. meets expectations.

At first I panicked because I couldnt find instructions but they were buried at bottom of box. It took me a little while but I set it up and I am very happy with the strength and price and it is excellant for my room. I like that it can be set up in different forms. Well worth the price!

I bought 2 x the 12 cube package but didn’t use all the pieces. . The key to this unit is to make sure that each joint is tapped properly in place. I pushed the pieces together by hand then tapped them all with the mallet provided. It went together so well and as you can see, it holds a lot of stuff. The shelves are canvas, so any slim jars might not stand up straight. The space I have it in is 47.5” wide x12” deep x 84” high. Very satisfied with this unit.

price is fair, very very useful, looks great in any room and getting 2 more for Christmas gifts for family members
