Wasn’t sure if a 3rd Mary Kay book would be a lot different from the other two. But this book is excellent. I love to read and I’ve re-read parts of this book twice. Great thoughts for women and starting a business

I've read a few books either written by Mary Kay or written by another party and this book by far is the best I've read. I am a Mary Kay Senior Sales Consultant and have read several books to help me in my business, but this book goes beyond that. Yes, she gives wonderful advice on how to run ANY business, but it's more than just that. She also has wonderful stories and wonderful little lessons that can be applied to one's everyday life. Little life lessons I guess you could call them. So, this book is not just for somebody who is involved in the Mary Kay business, but for anyone who is self-employed and more importantly someone who is looking to improve on themselves as a person. I've read twice now and still learned new things the second time around.

I confess...I'm a Mary Kay consultant. And besides using and promoting great products, I get so excited at all that Mary Kay Inc does to empower women. I've read a number of books now by her, about her, and about her company from people within and people outside of Mary Kay Inc., and they all talk about her philosophy and marketing plan and mission in glowing terms.And I'm becoming a Mary Kay success story. After spending 40+ years in extreme shyness, I'm starting to become more confidant and more successful.The title of this book is correct--you don't have to give up family for career. You can design your own lifestyle!

Mary Kay is a wonderful woman to lean on for advice if you want personal growth, empowerment, or to run our own business. I can't wait to crack this book open to read it.

I would recommend this book to everyone that desires to work inside or outside the home to contribute to the life of those they love without giving up their personal dream!
