When I 1st left him home alone with my other dog I had video cameras on and he triggered it 75 times and one hour running back-and-forth between the front and back door.. We have used this as a bedtime comforter for our puppy and he loves it. We used from the first night we collected him at 8 weeks old. He snuggles into the puppy with the heartbeat on and sleeps for about 6 - 7 hours with no crying or whimpering. One of the best pet toys we have purchased. The heartbeat is switched on and runs for approx 7 hours and we have used it for 4 nights at the moment and the batteries have not needed to be replaced as yet. We keep the snuggle puppy just for bed time to get our dog in to a routine and once he doesnt need it he can then have during the day.
