Benebone Wishbone Dog Chew Toy for Aggressive Chewers, Real Peanut, Small

I bought the boys some nylon chew toys when I first got them which they have almost entirely eaten! So I bought them a bacon flavoured nylabone replacement - which they haven’t even touched. What a waste. The brand I bought before was bamboo-based wishbone shaped chew, but unfortunately has been discontinued. I took a punt on this benebone replacement. We’ve had it six hours and they’ve squabbled over it and already chewed happily at all 3 ends. A real hit with the fussy lads. I’m astonished and already bought another one so they don’t have to share. We are in lockdown at the moment so having something to keep them from being bored is really important and I’m honestly relieved and happy they love this so much! One of them tried to take it on a walk with us earlier, so they clearly really like it. It’s more expensive than other nylon brands but I think the texture and flavour is what they like. I’d say £10 is steep for what it is, but they absolutely love it and if it lasts, it’s money well invested. I bought the peanut flavoured mini, and it’s perfect for my 5kg chihuahua crosses. They love the curved bit too as it’s much easier to hold on to. No strong smell and so far seems pretty durable!

My girl is a massive chewer, destroyer of all kongs/indestructible dog toys/chews, this peanut chew has been amazing. She's a bit obsessed so have to remove it for a few hours. Only first day but I feel safe letting her at it. Seems durable and would probably last at least a few weeks.

Excellent product

The bone itself is sturdy and my dog enjoys chewing it. However, after use it releases a very unpleasant smell, similar to a faecal odour, especially once it gets wet with saliva and dries again. Unlike other dog chews I’ve bought before, this one requires washing after almost every use to keep the smell under control, which is quite inconvenient. Might be fine for people who don’t mind frequent cleaning, but worth knowing before buying.

Our springer spaniel Phoebe loves it, it is one of, if not, her favourite toys. She has been classified as a tenacious chewer by Kong (recommend only black Kongs or red (at a push) due to her chewing power), as otherwise toys do not last. She has destroyed toys with guarantees longevity with strong chewers in under 20 minutes and I don't need to exaggerat. (She is an adorable menace) but this has lasted! We got the large, despite her being a medium dog due to the above mentioned chewing but I don't think it was necessary. She has made a significant dent in it, it is almost a stubby v now. We are planning on getting her more for her birthday 🎂(multiple shapes and sizes). Highly recommend to strong chewers.

First photo after an hour of chewing. Second one about a month later of monitored chewing, an hour here and there. He gnaws at it with his back teeth and gets through most ‘tough’ toys within minutes. It’s held up very well, he absolutely loves it and chucks it around all the time. We did spot a bit of blood on it once so took it away for a few days and gave it a little sand down, and has been fine since. It is quite pricy so have since tried another brand of a similar item that’s also good, but I’d say it’s still worth the buy.

Ich kann das Teil nur loben. Durch eine Unverträglichkeiten muss unser Hund leider auf tierische Eiweiße verzichten. Da etwas zu finden ist sehr schwer. Dazu haben wir noch einen Dackel der einfach alles zerstört was zum kauen ist. Hier haben wir die perfekte Mischung. Erdnuss Geschmack und langlebig. Er kaut jeden Tag mehrere Stunden drauf Rum und wir haben schon bzw erst das dritte BeneBone geholt. Unser Dackel liebt es und es hält super lange. Zudem scheint es auch sehr gut zu pflegen. Keine Sicht von Zahnstein. Wir kaufen gerne noch mehr
