Good Cleaning Robot
This robot works as described and does a good job on our pool. I usually ru it for two cycles just to be thorough. It’s easy to clean, set up, and use. Just throw it in and turn on.

Worth the price
Cannot be happier. I got this, and my pool is the cleanest it's ever been. But I was manually sweeping it with the pool vacuum last year. really wish I had bought this sooner. would have saved me alot of work last year. My wife didn't want me to spend the money, but she admits that it was worth it. It does get stuck sometimes on the edge of the wall and the bottom of the pool if it lands sideways after scrubbing the wall. But it happens rarely enough that I only lowered it 1 star. I would give it 4.5 if I could.

Terrible
This vacuum, the Dolphin Pool Up, is terrible. It doesn’t clean the edges of my pool and it only goes up the walls about 1 foot. The contraption that the debris, that is vacuumed up, goes into, that then needs emptied is a fabric sack. The sack becomes heavy and weighed down, has 4 corners, which are difficult to get cleaned and is difficult to get back in place on the vacuum. I see the next model, more expensive, has a basket, which makes A LOT more sense. Additionally, every time I pull the vacuum out of the pool, a ton of debris and dirt comes out from under the vacuum and drops back into the pool. I do like that it runs on electricity, not my pool pump, but that’s about it. We thought we were upgrading with this purchase but our $300 Zodiac vacuum was much more effective and lasted nearly 5 years. I’ve used the dolphin for a week and already despise it. *buyer beware, this supplier will only accept unused, resellable products PLUS charge a 20% restocking fee .this machine does not work as described and I did not know that until I used it.

Great entry level Dolphin vacuum!
Great little vacuum. Cleans my 30x15 foot rectangular pool just fine. Love the cloth filter because it picks up everything. Hope the cloth is durable enough to last a few years. I try to use it about 3 times a week. Pool stays pretty clean. I recommend this unit for sure.

Stuck on walls, above ground pool
Was really looking forward to having a nice pool vacuum that I spent a little extra on to do a great job, but I'm disappointed. Returning unit after trying to use it for a few days. It would not climb my above ground pool walls, it would get there, spin the tracks and then shut off. I had to babysit the vacuum and pick it up and turn it around everytime it would try to get up a wall and get stuck. I never finished a complete cleaning cycle without getting stuck up to 4 times and me having to reposition it. When it wasn't stuck on the walls it cleaned the floor of my pool fairly well but the getting stuck on walls is a deal breaker for me, especially at this price point.

Constantly Gets Hung up on Center Drains
I like that this is a powered cleaner without a battery. Cordless are so unreliable. It does clean and will climb walls. However, for my above ground pool it constantly, and I mean CONSTANTLY will get stuck on the center drains. My drains protrude an inch or so...all standard. But the cleaner will climb over it and the flat bottom of the cleaner sits on top of the drain. The tracks are then stranded and cannot move. I do like this product but for the cost I have to send back. I have to find something that does not get hung up on the center drain. Also, if you have the beveled or whatever its called above ground liner, where there is a slight incline to the wall under the liner, this cleaner is hit or miss if it will climb the wall or just stop and go the other direction. I also have a pool ladder where I noticed the robot climbed the first step and then just got hung up. It just stayed in that spot. Over all, this really is a good cleaner. But for my specific above ground pool, it just gets stuck too many times for the price. I would recommend this to others without center drains and flat liners.

Exceeded My Expectations
I love this pool vacuum. I started out with a cheaper ($140ish) battery powered pool vacuum in another brand and it didn’t even last three days. After a lot of research I finally decided to buy a corded vacuum and am so happy I chose this one. I’ve kept my vacuum in the pool most of the season and there are a lot of trees around our pool so I turn the vacuum on 2 or 3 times per day on some days. It gets everything in one cycle and even climbs the walls of our 24 ft above ground pool. The cord floats and never gets in the way of the vacuum. I only have to empty the vacuum/ clean the filter out every 2 weeks or so. It holds a lot and the filter bag filters very fine particles. The entire inside of the bag could be full of leaves and gross debris, and the outside still looks perfectly clean. I’m amazed by that! When it’s time to clean the filter bag out I usually empty as much of the debris as possible, spray it down with a water hose, and run it through the washing machine by itself. It’s very easy to reinstall the filter bag afterward.

value for money
very easy to assemble and get started. easy to clean quite heavy to lift from the water to the pool side but I found that using a hook made that easy Altogether, value for money and very easy to operate

A good machine for the price from a well-known manufacturer
A reasonably priced robot cleaner that cleans the wall as well the floor of a medium size pool efficiently and, so far for me at least, reliably. The more or less budget price means you don't get a programmable controller; the machine has to be switched on manually, (it switches off automatically at the end of a run cycle). So be prepared to have to switch the machine on well before you want a swim. The filter is efficient at retaining the debris it vacuums up but cleaning the filter bag is fiddly and isn’t as easy as cleaning the filter cassettes fitted to more expensive models but it’s got a large capacity so you won’t have to do it too often. Being a Dolphin, spare parts seem relatively widely available here in theUK which hasn't been my experience with other manufacturers. All in all, a good machine for the price from a well-known manufacturer but if you want more bells and whistles and easier maintenance you may need to consider moving up the range and spending a bit more.
