My dog and I love this thing. It was easy to assemble, looks great, sturdy, the bowls are a very good size (holds about 1.5c of kibble which is plenty, considering that for the height, it likely won'tbe used for a dog over 35lb). Based on some of the bad reviews about it getting moldy, I decided to spray it all over with a few coats of Rustoleum brand triple glaze and leave it outside to dry well before using. I made sure to really cover it well in all the edges, inside and around the openings for the bowls and underneath, JUST in case. Now, I also make sure to wash and dry both bowls well, and I wipe down the stand now and then, but even the bowls have been fantastic, just as expected, and zero rust. I do keep it indoors, but I still can't imagine how anyone's bowls got rusty. I had big outdoor dogs years ago and never did any of their stainless steel bowls rust. I hate to say it, but those bad reviewers likely don't do anything to maintain the item. Nothing is indestructible, nothing stays pristine forever, nothing lasts a lifetime, without SOME amount of care. I'm including pictures of whole thing that I just took, 4 months after I began using them for my dog. Of course the water bowl on the left is shinier than the food bowl on the right, but that's to be expected. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase and I feel it was a very well priced item for what I got. I'm sure this will last for years.

I purchase this bowl because I had ant problems. Ant kept getting into my cat food. I don't know how they got into the house but they would find a way to cat food. This was getting frustrating for me and the cat. I was wasting money and throwing a lot of food away. I want something that would sit up higher. This was the perfect bowl I also have a mat I place it on. I did get ants but it stop after the 3rd feeding. I wanted to get the one with the 3 bowls instead but I started with the two which worked out. I give him bottle water and hard food. I give soft food too but in different bowl. I let he eat all then clean the bowl right away. The bowl sits up and his food now last much longer. I glad I didn't get the the 3 bowls because he would expect the soft food to be in there also on a regular. After getting this bowl I don't have the ant problem anymore and he happier cat. Now he can eat his food in peace. It was easy to set up, sturdy, great size bowls. It easy to wiped down and clean bowls are easy too. I would recommend this bowl for any size cat,small dog ,or medium. I wouldn't recommend this bowl for a large dog. I would wait until the kitten or puppy get a certain size before making this purchase. Most large usual need a big bowl I don't think the bowl may be big enough for them. But if the make them in larger size it would be great.

I've had this for about 1.5 years now, and I must say, it's held up really well over that time period, both the stand and bowls are all still in great shape. We've bleached the bowls before, and they get ran in the dishwasher every night with no issues, whatsoever. They also hold the perfect amount of food that's recommended daily for my pitbull (about 3 cups of dry food in each bowl, or we do 3 cups of dry food in one bowl and one 13oz can of wet food in the other bowl and thats the perfect amount for his daily feeding), so they are perfect size and height for him to eat comfortably. Definitely worth every single penny. If you're like I was and looking through 1,000 different bowls, trying to find the right one for your fur baby, look no further, this is it. Money definitely well spent 🥰. There's 2 pictures attatched, one of of the bowls now, 1.5 years after purchase and one of my dog for size reference. Buy this and you won't be disappointed!!! 😃

stand is durable, fantastic, lovely to look at and is easy to fit in my... inconveniently designed house. have a galley kitchen with an open floor plan and literally nowhere to store or set anything without it being directly or indirectly in the footpath, but this was easy to find a palce for where it was good - unlike overlarge bulky stands ive had before. my complaint is, while the bowls are pretty and shiny and everything, they are NOT great. had them 3 years now and they are rusted. they are used indoor only, not washed overmuch, never scrubbed, and yet... both the water bowl and the food bowl [which we mind to keep separate when washing] are both full of tiny dots of rust. i have a cheap nospill/notip water bowl made of metal, i assume stainless steel but its dull/matte and i have no idea what brand it is or where i got it, but ive had it since 1993-94 and its been outside the entire time. thats 27+ years and its been filled with water, rainwater, empty and with gardening supplies and frogs and various other things, always exposed to the elements, and its still rust free. so considering a 30 years outside in the weather full of water [i live in a very humid subtropical climate, so its always hot and humid] and baking in the sun, and its still perfect, if weathered. and this brands bowls here, that came with the stand, are less than 3 years old and they are already rusting from indoor use and gentle care. get this for the stand, its lovely, sturdy, great eating height, and convenient overall - i really love the stand. but the bowls? use them until you can find something better, but dont expect them to last. perspective. i have two of these stands, and thus 4 bowls. ALL 4 are rusting, so its not jsut a one off. i bought them in march 2018 [its july 2021 now and theyve been spotted for a few months now.] check your bowls!

this works excellent just having it off the ground this much helps my Pug. She’s having back leg issues so she doesn’t have to reach down as far for her food.

It was just the right height for my dog and he can’t get the bowl out. It is great I’m so pleased with it.

I bought the 10" stand for my 60lb dog, and it's a perfect size for her. I love the look of the bamboo. I found it easy to install and extremely sturdy. The stand stays in place while eating, as well as the bowls. It's exactly as described. My dog is a messy water drinker, and so far the bamboo has held up to the water spills. When I see them, I do wipe it up right away though. And it's much easier for me to clean since it's up and off the floor! My back and knees appreciate it. :) After trying many elevated stands, this far exceeds them all. I am very happy with my purchase.
