Couldn't be happier!
I got really tired of the typical fender mounted antenna on my truck. It constantly loosened and was starting to damage the fender (and I have a nice truck). I fashioned a simple plastic cover for the hole and epoxied it on. This antenna is the bomb! It's powered, so it's really efficient and grabbing stations from anywhere. And I only had to drill a hole in my roof. No cutting!

Works great, finally satisfied....
After drilling a hole in my roof about 2 years ago I am finally content with my radio reception. This is about the 4th roof mount I've had and it is heads and tails above the others I've had. Not only did increase my FM reception but I was surprised to find out that I now can receive AM stations (not that I listen to AM). There's no instructions with this kit but I believe just about anyone can figure it out. Very happy with this purchase!

Worth it
Installed on 02 Lexus IS300. Easy to swap out. Works great so far. Looks good. My only issue is it had a lot of fine scratches on it upon arrival. Makes me wonder if they sent me a used 1 or returned item.

amplified shark fin antenna
It was easy to install and works excellent the only thing I did not like no installation instructions and I tried to look up instructions on line but still could not find anything so I thought the antenna needs to be grounded and a single power wire and the antenna lead plugs into the radio hope this helps.

Couldn't be happier!
I took a chance on this after reading the reviews. Having a Volvo xc90 where the antenna is integrated into the fiber optics, I wasn't able to connect my aftermarket radio to the OEM. I tried the windshield stick on and couldn't have been more unimpressed by it. So I did what any normal person does, drilled a hole through my roof and hooked this baby up. Stations now come in very clear and the am works as well. Highly recommend it , just be sure to have a good ground.
