I purchased this Shark StainStriker in November of last year, and after nearly a year of use, I can confidently say it's one of the best investments I've ever made for my home. Functionality & Performance: This cleaner is a beast. I've used it on everything from ground-in dirt on my car seat covers to mystery stains on our living room sofa and high-traffic carpet spots. Its portability is a huge plus; it's light enough to easily carry out to the car here in the Frisco heat without a second thought. Our problem is an old dog who has accidents, and sometimes we don't find the right away. I can honestly say that this machine surprised me. I had a similar (blue) machine prior to this that was nowhere near as good. The combination of the two cleaning agents does the trick. The stain is removed and the odor is gone. It works on all kinds of stains. I even spilled a glass of red wine on an off white carpet and it took the stain right out. It has numerous cleaning nozzles for all jobs. You can disassemble the machine and get it really clean, which I appreciate. The cleaning solutions are pricy but they last a long while. It's small and lightweight enough to move up and down the stairs. I highly recommend this machine.

Replaced a 4 month old Hoover that had a torn hose (and Hoover really lost me as a customer w/their horrendous customer service on handling this issue...) with this unit. Decided on a Shark based on my love for the Shark upright vacuum that I've owned for a long time. The good: -dirty water tank is super easy to clean! -unit seems to spray the clean water and cleaning solution out into such a fine mist that even after several uses the tank seems full. -the head attachment for pet messes is so clever -love the little holder under the cord area for the hose cleaning attachment -not too loud Cons: -every handheld unit i've ever had has ALWAYS met it's demise with a torn hose. I know that they try to bundle everything together as compactly as possible when the unit is "put away" but it puts too much tension and stress on the hose by the handle. This unit is no exception in where the handle slides onto the base to store, it pulls on the hose SO TIGHTLY and the hose does not twist or swivel at all near the handle to make it more flexible. I ended up not wrapping the hose around the unit before I clip the handle on and just let the hose sort of hang. -when the pet attachment is on, almost all of the liquid does collect in the upper tank but some does get into the main dirty tank so I end up rinsing both anyway. -when the pet attachment is on I do not think the suction is as strong as with the regular attachment. Overall it's been pretty good! Hoping without having the hose wrapped around the unit that it'll prolong it's life.

This product is quite satisfying when you see the dirt being extracted while having the surface become noticeably cleaner. I used this to clean a dog bed with no stains, but smelled and felt so much better. Very much worth the money, if you like clean smelling dog gear!

This little Shark portable carpet cleaner is a workhorse! Don't let the size fool you. It works so well for spills or pet messes. Really cleans well and removes the entire stain from rugs and carpet. It's easy to take apart and clean after use also. A+ all around!

People complaining about the "American junk" are jokesters, we most likely got the materials from them. This thing is amazing and when used with the solutions 1 & 2 provided with purchase it's unstoppable, I bought it solely for car detailing and I just hit a jeep renegade sitting in a yard for 10 months untouched with trash in it and sticky stuff everywhere and it knocked it all out, I haven't tried any other ones but people are happy with the work it provides. I was outside when it was 96 degrees for around 7 hours working with it a majority of that time and it didn't turn off or get hot, it provides very strong suction and if you use it right it will completely dry the carpet so you don't have to worry about setting wet cloth floor mats back into the car, it's so small it fits pretty much anywhere and that's something major to me since I work on car carpets and seats with it, it's about as loud as a vacuum but that's expected. My only wish is that the hose was longer but it's not specifically for vehicles so that's a me problem not them. I love this thing! I also love all shark products!

Have had this for 5 months now and have used it a lot because of my senior dog. It has powerful suction for a small machine. Love the tool that allows me to suck up urine before actually cleaning. Easy to clean the machine and I haven’t had to refill cleaning solution (bonus-it smells good) yet. No more green machines for me which never lasted for long. I love it!

They sent a US product that doesn’t work in Saudi.. and they didn’t even specify at all anywhere that this is 110v. And to make matters worse there isn’t an option to retune this!!

Worked for 60s unplugged it ran through all possible fixes then worked for another 60s don’t waste your money very disappointed
