The oil looks very clear even though it is mentioned as unrefined and cold pressed. I bought this primarily for my cooking use and also to light oil lamps. I generally like aroma of Sesame oil . This oil has very little aroma which is disappointing for me. If you are not hung up on aroma or you don't really need that, this is a good option. I am still looking for options where I can get the nice aroma of sesame oil that is organic, cold pressed and unrefined.

Good quality oil, at a good price. The oil is clear and seems free from impurities. The taste is pretty good, definitely tastes like sesame seed. To me it tasted like it came from cooked sesame seeds, but I would not know the difference so please don't take that as an expert opinion. The consistency is nice and thick. I have been using it primarily for oil pulling and the cap makes for a great little cup that is the perfect size for what you need for oil pulling. I fill the cap up about 3/4 of the way up, and it is just the right amount. I can't say I have noticed any benefits from oil pulling, but there might be benefits that I just haven't noticed. Although truthfully I could be doing it on a more regular basis ;-). The half gallon jug is a solid amount of oil that has lasted me for a long time. This is a product of Mexico for anyone wondering. It also says it is kosher on the label. I feel like I got a good value for the price. PS. I have gotten measurable benefits from oil pulling with coconut oil. Maybe I will be more rigorous with oil pulling with sesame oil everyday and report back here with the results.

I like it. I Googled and researched thoroughly sesame oil, the cons and benefits before purchasing.I bought it as a skin care product. I use it when I dermaplane my face, works great also, as a skin lighter Slowing but surely, it lightened my under eyes, and helped with dark circles,and hyperpigmentation. Makes for a very effective moisturizer as well. I put it in a roller bottle and roll it all over my skin, I also use it right after I shower, while skin is still damp. It Comes in a plastic bottle, not glass, so I'm not to keen on that. I also, take one tablespoon a day. All in all, it's a 5 star for me.

I'm using this for skincare rather than food. It feels like it's a good quality oil, light neutral smell that goes away after absorbed by your skin. It is lightweight and gets absorbed by your skin quickly, especially when you mix it with body lotion.

I use this for massage and it doesn't have a strong scent so its comparable to other massage oils.

Compré este aceite para hacer la práctica de Abhyanga (masaje ayurvédico) así que no lo he probado en la cocina, no puedo opinar sobre su sabor. Para el masaje funcionó perfectamente, tiene un olor fuerte (pero rico) que dura solo mientras aplicas el masaje y se queda un poco en la habitación, pero no en tu cuerpo, quiero decir, no estarás oliendo a ajonjolí por todos lados XD. Llegó en perfectas condiciones y el precio me pareció justo, se ve que durará bastante. ¡Lo recomiendo!
