Was a bit nervous ordering this strap. When I read a review saying it wasn’t long enough for an adult to use. But my 6ft son only liked the look of this one. Due to it having the cool looking cross on. As he’s into heavy metal music. And behind the little cross is a pocket for holding a spare string pick. When it arrived: I fully extended it out, with the sliding buckle. Attached it to the guitar. Then got my Son to put it on and hold the guitar in place where he wanted it. I have to say, it had plenty of length on it for low waist position. And I had to adjust it shorter for where he wanted it. By pulling the buckle back up the strap. So he’s very pleased with this guitar strap. And it all seams sturdy enough. The strap holes were tight to push on, which is great. So they don’t look like they will fall off, unless seriously tugged on the wrong way. Update: Since I purchased another one of these straps for his Explorer shaped guitar. We noticed the strap length needs to be on full extension. (No-where looking low like say James in Metallica wears his. So not a problem)But the major problem was the guitar head dive wearing this strap, being the guitars shape and design. The strap was slipping from the uneven weight of the guitar. A well known problem we have come to realise on this shaped guitar, being head heavy. So after trying a different make of strap which was thicker with suede inside to resolve the issue. Found it was so uncomfortable and still got slight head dive. Son went straight back to this comfortable strap, and now leans more weight on the guitar body whist playing, to stop the annoying head dive. Overall we still like the look of this strap the best. And son finds it comfortable to wear for long hours of guitar playing.
